Well! Thanks to you! My project can be completed! Definitely a great tutorial! You don't go to fast, very articulate, and slow enough, but fast enough to show how it's done! Starting to work animation into my projects, and this channel/video is far better than the rest I've watched to. Very easy to understand and enough information to to follow properly! :D

Got to about 10 minutes in before that super mask over the left eye confused me. Had to look up that subtractive mask to understand it a bit more. It's messing me up a bit how it interacts with the mask above. But I'm gonna tough it out and see if I can make it through. Everything made sense up to this point. I'm writing up a document as I go through so it can make sense to me when i want to try the effect again.
Okay, as I go on, maybe the mask was shaped like that to give the filling of the eye and irregular look so it's not to uniform and boring? I'm at 10:36 now...
Think 15:30 minutes is enough. No need to do the "spicing up". A few hours writing this up is enough. I'll take that as a win. Good tutorial. It could definitely use a few explanations here and there about why you're doing certain things or what certain things do. Still not sure why we ended up deleting that Mask 1 layer. Which makes me wonder if we ever needed it? Thanks for the tute!
What is the opacity on your layer? I turn that layer off to be able to draw the mask but still see the eye. When youre done with drawing the mask, when you turn the layer back on, you should be able to see it. Let me know if that helps
@@StudioXtutorials well yeah i know your intention of doing that , but it does not seem to work , the only way i can see the eye again is if i double click on the video , and if i want to see the layer then i have to double click on that
@@mohamedsafieldeen5583 Gotcha! Make sure you're looking at your video in the "Composition" window. Also double check that there is no other visible layers between your video, and the black solid.

Make sure you’re using the pen tool on the solid layer. Sometimes if it’s not selected, it just makes a shape layer instead
Hey Hey, When I apply roughen edges to the right eye the effect disappears if I pull the Border up. Help please.. ;(
In the mask settings, you can try using "mask expansion" to extend the mask out. Let me know if that works :)
