One of my OT team she said watch Paralympic’s cos I said to her I’m never gonna get back on a horse am I? And she said look up FND that’s what I have functional neurological disorder and I’m in a wheelchair and that’s why I’m watching this cos tbh this brought a tear to my eye
Watching this video has basically told my brain that what ever disability u have u can still get back to horse riding
    So thank you ❤

Every time I get frustrated and feel angry that it takes me longer to tack up or that my reins won't stay where I want them on my left side, or even that my left hand being my inside rein is much harder, I am going to watch this video and stop complaing. My CP is milder than Sophie's and affects only my left side, so yes, I have a more challenging time but. ..she could whoop my ass in competition. THAT'S what I want to know about myself, that I could get to her level. Also, I would love to work with children with all degrees of CP and show them it is VERY possible!

I also have CP on my left side ( arm, hand, leg) so it makes me glad to see someone other than be try horse riding. I'm starting next week, wish me luck!
