I used to volunteer with our local Community Riding for the Disabled outside of Toronto,back in the 80s...so much good comes from it. Such joy on the faces of the participants....does the soul good!
This really proves some people wrong, horses aren’t weak or useless. They’re incredible and can help with so much, they’re such good therapy animals because they’re very beautiful, and of course, lots of people love that. Also, they can really feel their riders nerves and they know what’s wrong. (Or what’s right!) Makes me even more excited to find my heart horse one day :)
This is awesome! I've been volunteering at my local RDA for the past 3 years and am now training to be a Level 0 Coach! Very special and rewarding experience. Met lots of amazing horses and people!
Wow amazing I do Therapeutic Riding and I learned a lot over the years. And it help with my disability I have more confents in myself that I can do anything if I put my mind to it. And Therapeutic Riding is amazing keep up the good work.
It's great for wounded veterans and people with anxiety and depression issues as well. The outside of a horse is indeed good for the inside of a man, woman or child!
