Well, technically all "wild" horses in America are owned by someone, if not by ranches or people who maintain them, then by the state. It is actually against the law in several states to aproach and interact with wild horses if they are owned by the state. These horses don't really look wild but are probaly not very tame either.

For those of you who are clueless about real ranch horses: 1. These are unshod and have great traction on asphalt. 2. They aren't running a Kentucky Derby, they are at a canter, not a full on gallop, and they get no damage to their legs from that short run. 3. Those foals "not keeping up" were being curious, not exhausted. See #2. 4. The horses and the dogs are used to each other. Those are working dogs and working horses. City rules don't apply. 5. The foal at the last being brought up with the tail riders is fine. It isn't with it's mother and may have lost it's mother. Predation and accidents happen on the range. The rope around it is loose and only being used as a guide. 6. This is country living, country ways. If you're city born and bred, you probably have no clue how things work in the real world of ranches and farms. Your opinion is uneducated and not valid.
Elizabeth Tunstall So near the end there was a foal with a loose roppe around its neck tied or held by the rider of its possible mother, I didn't get a good gender check but why it that? Why that one and not any of the rest?
Despite some of the comments this made me honestly happy. To see such beautiful creatures run with each other, mothers, children, fathers. I thought I saw around 9 colts in there, amazing how they can run so fast!
This was awesome! Being from Ohio we dont have anything like that so this was so awesome to watch! Thanks for putting it on youtube!
This is amazing! Grew up riding western style 💘 this
Pretty cool. Really beautiful. Slightly concerning for those of us who are not knowing. And then there are people who bring their dogs off leash.....
I can’t imagine how much pain the horses hooves are in 😫😫😫
Nobody is riding them so they can’t be in that much pain only some are getting riding on
Yeah exactly but most people don't really care about that. I consider it cruel to make horses run along a tarmac road like that. Reminds me of a guy who got done for riding his horse along the highway. They took his horse off him and it needed medical attention.
Just in case anyone else sees this comment in the future the answer is zero pain. each of those horses has been fitted with Horseshoes.
Quarantine makes me watch anything
For a few moments the one horse at about 2:55 seemed to be thinking about stopping in at the store (for oats, maybe?). lol
he was checking the gas prices
That was awesome I have never seen that many horses run on the road before
lolol this is probably the best thing i've ever seen on youtube
I love horses
I’m glad that they all got there safe but I feel a bit sad for them I know they must’ve been taken care of but they must’ve been scared out their minds people chasing them loud noises dogs barking at them it’s very stressful:( (and there were foals) (sorry to anyone who disagrees not trying to be rude)
the people calling 'wrigley' at 2:10 were so annoying. like, if there is a herd of wild horses being driven down the road, hold your dang dog!
👍👍👍
why are there like 1000 cop cars, just to escort some horses ?
is that normal in America
+polioarm 'murica
not really that normal in america but i live in the city but my guess is this in Western areas or country sides of states
polioarm 5
polioarm. b
polioarm It gets people out of the way and creates a barrier from any cars that might hurt the horses
