Hi Jeff. Thanks to A-X i got transformed from a 120Kg pile of fat, to an amateur bodybuilder in a 3 years period. It also got me interested in knowing more about human physiology and biophysics, that i'm using today in my robotics/biomimetics project. I can't get her engaged in my hardcore cardio training because she can barely walk without her cane but i want her to be training by my side. If this hasn't been said already...dont forget to drop your pelvis into a relaxed stance. Especially if you have spinal impingement issues. It can also give you a wider breadth of motion/support having that pelvic tilt at your command
I’ve been doing something like this for a few months now and I find alternating rep ranges works great. One day I’ll do 3x6-8, another I do 3x10-12, and next day I do 3x15-20. Then I repeat
enigmapublius1 yeah! My shoulders are much less rounded forward (I’ve been doing a lot more back work so this might just be a correlation) and the added volume has made my rear delts grow a decent amount

It's helped me a lot especially when training for my highschool football season and I have improved a lot from what I was at the beginning of the year when I didn't work out at all.
Jeff did a video on an exercise called no money curls a few years back. Check it out. He's just trying to get you to do some rotor cuff work as most don't do any.
Great advice Jeff. At one of my gyms (the one I go to most) the pulleys are none adjustable so can't perform the second exercise Are there any alternative movements with dumbells that might have the same effect?

Thanks for this one, I'm almost 78 my doc does a complete workup on me with a blood test every 6 months to see where I'm at. but he warns me don't risk lifting too much. If I slip and injure something I will be out 2 or 3 times longer than a young person and many my age give up after an injury so I'm looking for ways to avoid heavy weights.I can use my stretch bands for this one.

Early bird damages his eyes.
Hated 7dtd and can't see the worm and dies eventually...
Out of all the athlean-x videos I’ve watched, this is one of the tips that has stuck with me the most, thanks Jeff!
If this hasn't been said already...dont forget to drop your pelvis into a relaxed stance. (Horse stance for traditional karate practitioners) this has helped me dynamically to understand how this master orientates his body to pull back with these exercises. Especially if you have spinal impingement issues. It can also give you a wider breadth of motion/support having that pelvic tilt at your command
Saw one of jeff’s video and i got ripped asf has this happen to anyone else? Is this normal?
Angel Lima not even lying I once spent a week doing ab exercises and using his tips and exercises my abs have changed in 3 days

In 22 he says that. In the beginning at the drug bust.
*So how heavy or light should we go on the weight for this?* Or maybe he said, but i missed it 🤔
-Sir WESLEE- good point!
I’ve been doing something like this for a few months now and I find alternating rep ranges works great. One day I’ll do 3x6-8, another I do 3x10-12, and next day I do 3x15-20. Then I repeat
greg smirnow you been doing this for a while now so... do you see any results man?
enigmapublius1 yeah! My shoulders are much less rounded forward (I’ve been doing a lot more back work so this might just be a correlation) and the added volume has made my rear delts grow a decent amount
greg smirnow good for you man! I will start doing this too!
Jeff this is gold I’ve been having pain and instability when benching heavier weight and after one month doing this it’s helped me so much thanx bro
Thank you for providing TH-cam with these great videos man. You have really opened my eyes up to some great workouts and not only how to do them properly but how to push myself to my limits when I'm doing them. It's helped me a lot especially when training for my highschool football season and I have improved a lot from what I was at the beginning of the year when I didn't work out at all.
What if you don't have this equipment as you workout at home?
You can use a resistance band that will inevitably snap at some point and pop one of your eyes out
Dominik Hamann and then buy another band, and repeat just with the other eye
😂😂
@@bigcow3704 after 4 bands your eyes are going to produce some muscles
Wear shades when using bands
is there any variation for this exercise using a dumbbell?
nazcret22 lay stomach down on a flat bench and mimic the pull with the dumbbells.
Jeff did a video on an exercise called no money curls a few years back. Check it out. He's just trying to get you to do some rotor cuff work as most don't do any.
You can do W-raises (you need to bend forward) to get the same action as Face-pulls. Overhead trap raise might work for the overhead rope pulls.
Great advice Jeff. At one of my gyms (the one I go to most) the pulleys are none adjustable so can't perform the second exercise
Are there any alternative movements with dumbells that might have the same effect?
I did it standing up with dumbbells while watching the video
Jeff is now at 4.1 million. I know some around the 4.5 million mark. Who is the most subscribed TH-cam fitness channel? Whoever it is I think AthleanX will surpass them!
The Butcher in 4 months he gained another 1 million
6.4 now
Thanks for this one, I'm almost 78 my doc does a complete workup on me with a blood test every 6 months to see where I'm at. but he warns me don't risk lifting too much. If I slip and injure something I will be out 2 or 3 times longer than a young person and many my age give up after an injury so I'm looking for ways to avoid heavy weights.I can use my stretch bands for this one.
I did listen, i did them, it has saved my poor shoulders.
I thank you from the bottom of my left shoulder.
