Inktober season is finally starting

Technically, this is my second year of Inktober! The first year was the thing that got me serious into art, but i only got to day 5. I’m excited to try again!

This is my first year of InkTober! It’s going really well so far, but my lack of imagination in going every time I draw everyday because I get nervous! But, this video really helped my to let my imagination go wild!

love your positive attitude. I'm gonna do my best on 31 days commitment
so inspiring!! but i decided to make 1 drawing a week this inktober ^^ i did 30 days in 2016 and 2017 so i decided this year i'll take it easy and don't want to stress~
I only made it three days last year trying to do 31 and it totally freaked me out; this year I mapped out ideas for 16 out of the 31, so hopefully doing half is less stressful lol
it's also stressful when you see everyone's doing it but you.. but in the end it's doesn't change anything, you're not a failure for not completing it, the whole point of the challenge is to have fun and improving in inking if you want to.

Yes! Just as I said, make it work for yourself, it doesn't matter how. Just make it something fun!

Great art and appreciate your wonderful tips and this video. You’re so right - don’t make each days ink’d art too complex, that’s been my problem In the past and I can’t maintain it for all 31 days so will try simpler drawings, if that’s possible. One way to help with this is to use small paper, for me that’s 4x6”.

I'll be doing it for the first time this year. I want to do a series of series. 5 florals, 5 landscapes, or whatever prompts I come up with. That way I can concentrate one one subject for a while. My sketchbook should arrive Friday. Pens are all ready to go.
I'm excited and kinda scared. I tried last year but I stopped at 10 😅 But this year I am determined to complete the challenge, so thank you for the tips 💕

I suggest that when usingbthe official prompt list choose a category you’ll be drawing in (for me horror and Nightmare Before Christmas themed)

Great video! Yes I feel inspired to try Inktober. Not sure what to do. I think a challenge maybe to draw some different to what I normally draw which is flowers?? Or maybe stick to flowers but just using inks but see if I can get to 31 days??
Drawing flowers is really cool! You could make a very pretty collection with only flowers! But if you really want to challenge yourself you could pick something else. Maybe plants? Slightly different from flowers ( maybe you already draw plants as well haha) or you could pick animals, butterflies, beetles, insects? I dunno just giving ideas haha. Pick something you are a bit comfortable with! Or something you really want to try or improve at! Nevertheless it is going to be amazing! ^^ Good luck!

Last year, I made it to day 10 and dang, its really hard to keep up. I'm planning to do it again this year but I want to keep it simple and try to stay on schedule! Hopefully...
I don't know what's wrong with inktober but I can never finish it. And mermay I do with no problem, this year even more than 30 drawings, so really no idea why this challenge is so hard for me.

You could mix them!^^ Its what I'm doing this year. Inktober is more about ink drawings then the actual prompt lists.

Doing inktober I can have 2 skips (and finish them off later ) and change 5 prompts

The pen of the one from the aquabrush? Both is ecoline, one is with water the other is a brush pen!

Can we use gel pens for inktober? I mean that I think that we only have to use fountain ink pens
KTuber 431 you can use any type of pen! With any color ink! Inktober was created to improve your inking skills but not everyone uses a liner or fountain pen or black colored ink in general. Some use brushes with brown ink and that’s totally ok! You choose what works best for you!

Gamer butterfly you can use marker! Anything you use to outline that has ink, you can use! 😊

Most welcome! They have different versions. This is the normal "brush" (B) they also have a Soft Brush ( SB ) and those are more like calligraphic pens ^^ It is best to try them out and pick the one you like best!

I am also wanting to do Inktober this year, I have the sketchbook ready, so I know I have to make small drawings. I don't have imagination (yet), so I have to draw real things. But I also can't make up my mind. And then there is the question of throwing in a pop of colour! So many decisions!

I scrolled through and no words were spoken that I could find. That's about all the attention that was needed, it's not like she was saying anything.
