I'm not a huge fan of the Nembrini amp sims, but this is definitely one of the better I've tried, and the price tag is just ridiculous. I'm really into the Neural Amp Modeler thing now tho. You really have to try the models that Jon Arnold has captured (especially the ones captured with the Mud Killer pedal in front of the amps)! The plug-in and all of the models are free and made by the community. Mendel Bij De Leij, Jens Bogren (and some others at Fascination Street Studios), Dan Korneff, Scott Andrew (from Submission Audio) and some other well known guys are members. Would be awesome to try some captures of your amps 🤘
I own many of Nembrini's amps and I have to say this one has become my go-to out of all his others. It's incredibly inspiring. Both the distorted AND clean tones are just outstanding.
Thank you for this! I just tried the plugin and in the default setting it doesn't sound anywhere near beefy. Even if I try to increase input gain it just becomes muddy. I managed to make it sound okish with the Overdrive Pro but still doesn't "punch" enough compared to Archetype Gojira with the same guitar and IRs. Am I missing something settings-wise? Also is it normal that your input is peaking a little bit? Thank you!
He has bass guitars in the mix which gives the impression that guitars are beefier than they are. Guitars on their own are generally thin, and even thinner to fit into the mix.
@@SweatyBetties I am comparing the isolated tones. His isolated tone is beefier than mine in the default setting. And I run an LTD Hetfield model which is quite hot.
Okay you didn`t finished it, but dude you played that riff that`s forbidden to play in every guitar shop! But great video as always and an awesome amp-sim i like it!! And i spy a Driftwood........ Cheers!!
Sounds a bit dry and stiff, stock, better for practice. Meaning, mistakes will be heard. A bit of dialing, squishier if you will, more forgiving. As far as tone, I'm kinda digging the analysis of the sound. Attack, pick sound, and percussive do tend to be used interchangeably. Whereas to me, percussive to my ears has more of a faster bass, lower mids response. Some other folk here can probably relate this, explosions have flavored my ideas and more than likely confused me as far as terminology. Same thing happened with timing in engines, having to separate mechanical and electrical timing, took me a while to wrap my head around.
NILE is literally the worse fucking band, bunch of absolute turds, tone deaf.............. Yeah no, I absolutely love NILE and Karl Sanders is a fucking genius. 🤣 I love his philosophy of playing guitar and every interaction I've had with him has been way above par. Very solid dude.
This is pretty typical... a lot of work goes into the actual amp simulator and that's all nice, but typically I'll just bypass this and zip it right into IRs I know like the back of my hand.
Hands down the best Engl amp sim out.
This plugin looks fantastic and as always love to see the whole process of tone creation.

4 Guitars , Massiv sound
i erased many of the nembrini plugins that i have due to the lack of gain, the marshall stuff. but this one is really good!
Niiiice man! Killer intro riffs! I just got this plugin! Sounds great!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Thank you!
I got it. Yes it’s very modern and tight. I love it more with eminence cv75 IRs

I’m starting to think you might like Nile. Lol
Nembrini is amazing

As a 5150/6505 guy i never get used to engl style amps :/ i guess engl guys never like 5150 amps
There might be something to that... :D
I have the 8180 which is real good but the mics and impulse responses that come with it are pants - takes a lot of dialling in
