I really think Jax hide his true feelings and personality through a mask. He has a role to play, as a jerk brute, but inside him there's fear, insecurity, sadness, and I think he really cares about the others, but he's afraid of attachement or doesn't know how to show affection. That's heartbreaking.

I don’t think the glitch production really have any plans on removing Jax from the show, even if people are hating him, he is still one of the most favorite characters ever and if the glitch production team and goose Works were to remove Jax from the shows popularity will ground rocket If you don’t know means that they’re popularity will drop. You might be thinking goose might stop the situation by introducing another character that is similar to Jax an appearance and maybe behavior but keep in mind. She might react to too late and the damage would’ve already been done or she could’ve done something that would make the character even more hated than Jax and cause even more fans to leave and never watch the amazing digital Circus again

Though before he gets into the truck he yells, "I call ShotGun". "Shotgun" is a term used to refer to the seat next to the driver because in the old west the person who traveled in front with the driver of a stage coach or covered wagon would have a shotgun with them. So he likely was securing that seat in the case he wasn't able to be the driver.
