I feel like your just over thinking paine. I get what you're onto, but I feel like its really just concept art. The trailer likely only showed the head of the announcer because they didn't want to show their face, as well.

Those aren’t unused characters for the pilot and episode two those are scrapped characters that never made it to the final show or they scrapped design for the characters but they change it and the other ones that we see on the door are the character who abstract it(also can you stop spreading misinformation)
