I miss the days when youtube was mostly videos like this. Now everyone thinks they're Bob Villa signed by ABC with all kinds of annoying intros and graphics. I love this video.
This is more helpful than most of the crap on YT. No intro, straight to the point, and no babying through it. I needed a simple walkthrough, and i got my simple walkthrough
That's funny. Searching "Building a desk base" this is the first result. Second result is similar "Build a Super CHEAP and EASY DIY Desk!" both 7 year old videos.
Just the basics i was looking for. Every other "basic table" tutorial on here looks like its made for a restaurant. Sometimes people just need a god damn elevated flat surface to put stuff on.
I couldn’t find a tutorial that matched my personal carpentry vibe then I came across this 3 days ago and I have made three tables and a bookshelf since. Thank u
Omg this is the table design I was looking for. I need a table to go over a very large, heavy duty dog crate. I have very little experience and my dad has negative patience. I think we can get through this one without too much screaming. Thank you!
love it. my metal garden table legs broke. thinking of making a similar frame to put on it. Tried so many legs on amazon and all wobbly, guess it will be better to make our own.
This is the best table video ever. Spent all day trying to make a rolling 2x3’ table k ky to find that I was sold the wrong insert nuts, the drill bit was too big for the threaded rods, snd the wheel plates was too big for the legs
I built my desk out of an old door and some 2x4 and 2x6 for the base. I put some carbon fiber vinyl wrap on the top and a vesa two monitor mount and attached a rocketfish surge protector. Looks like something you would spend $1000+ on.
Theres such a large amount of useless and absurd designs online, that most people wouldn't be able to replicate. But this is fantastic, easy to follow and certainly something most people can do at home.
Now this is something I could build, because everyone that knows me knows that I can't build to save my life 😂even this seems a lil challenging but I think I can get close to it. Wish me luck
Ok this seems easy enough with the basic tools I have. Trying to make a table with one set of legs at one height and the other 2 legs at another height. It's to go next to a bath where there is a step to get into the bath. This simple table might just do the job without breaking the bank.
Grabbed some dressed pien for the legs and cross beams.. had to go with MDF for the table top as the dressed pine was too expensive in that format. Will see how I go.. measure twice, cut once. LoL

Corporations ruin everything!! 😠
😊❤
I hate the videos of the guy constantly talking into the camera instead of showing the work.
TH-cam has always been like this. It's just your algorithm is full of trash in the 17 years you have been using the site.

What do you mean? Just grab your pocket hole aligner and put some planks on your $5000 table saw!
I’m a woodworker, but sometimes you just want something quick and easy for the shop. This fits the bill.
Plant at the end made me laugh.
Exactly what I was looking for, need to knock up a simple bench to bung my 3d printers on and have storage space underneath for materials :)😊
Th fastest, easier, cheapest and best table on TH-cam. God Bless
Thumbs up. I had to look at like 35 videos before i found what i was looking for. Just a simple scrappy table for my plants

Thank you. Everyone else do videos with tools I can't afford or don't have. This was easily followed and simply made.

Thank you! I’m during a wooden door into a table with no experience and this gave me the basics on making the legs

Of all the things wrong with this video, the white Crocs take the cake 🤣
Well, they do match the drill...
the table looks nice

I would hope you would be able to screw a few 2x4s to a board.
All with a sawzall! hahahahah! Awesome!!

Best and easiest way 👌
Loved that!
The sawzall cutting is kinda silly xD
Do I need to buy all these tools or can I rent them?
Where are the exact measurements?
Didn't his phone just got hit by the 2nd wood?
What's English?
No hammer, no hand saw
Easy as pie👍
that's 2:45 i'll never get back
Longer, as you took the time to comment.
That's how I'm gonna build a table for a CRT bc I'm too lazy to do mortise and tenons tbh

I had seen your phone has damaged
he hit himself in the crotch with the saw.

Are those 2x4s as the legs?
Something like that. It was all leftover wood from other projects.

That was pretty simple! 😆😆👍
Didn't his phone just got hit by the 2nd wood?
It did yes.
