That is true but also you gotta keep in mind that it's not exactly easy to process, store and be able to afford this kinda stuff. I am sure there would have been others that would have bought it all. But the group is probably very small and I doubt many would semi blindly pay as much as chase & co did.
@@trevor245 trevor, i am ron, i am chase, lol. i have had my own ebay business for about 18 years now. i understand 100%. chase knows what i said is true to the fullest. that ol man liked them and gave them a deal of a lifetime. the trains alone are worth more then what they paid for all of it.

I am not saying that he didn't like Chase or didn't want to give him a good deal but I am saying that the price they paid is not all there is too it. There is going to be atleast double the purchase amount in labour costs, not to mention the years of time it would take years to finish all this.
Congratulations on getting sponsorship. You are clearly reaching the next level in your business between your rapid growth in reselling, discovering new markets and now getting sponsors for your videos. This is great and you will be able to feed your kids and send em to college.
Those D&D books are the holy grail of role playing games. They produced them in the late 70's. That is the very first books. It spawned the entire role playing genre.
Cool video! I used to work at a Hobby Shop here in San Francisco. We specialized in vintage Lionel. I'm sure people have told you to look for the 6464 boxcars, some can be quite expensive. Plus, on the vintage stuff, look for price stickers from Madison Hardware, a famous shop that was in New York, some collectors will pay an added premium for the stickered item. Oh, and don't overlook the Marklin stuff, some of it can fetch a nice price, as well.
Lures you scored . Heddon’s originated in Dowagiac , Mich. (small private Museum still there). Spearing fish decoys, keep eyes open for any by Oscar Peterson from Cadillac ( very cool and sought, but a ton of imposter pieces) you will get guys who want provenance for top price . Really enjoying watching you do your thing .
Chase, if that was my inventory, I'd put some of it up on eBay auction a 10 day auction and I would start my auctions on Thursdays all between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm Start the bid at a price you can live with if it sells for that starting bid, but yet low enough to entice buyers who want your item to bid on it and hopefully you'll get 2 or 3 or more buyers who really want the item or items and they start a bidding war and than Chase smiles all the way to the bank! You have an awesome find there, A Resellers Dream Deal Congratulations I do believe you'll do quite well between this Hobby Store and then the Video Store Purchase Both Awesome Buys. You'll be able to retire after these two deals!
Thanks so much for the deep dive it has to be such a blessing to be able to pick through all these items! Thanks for the deep dive!! God bless Chase and Skylar!!!
Always nice to realize that you made the right choice. Ron was a great guy and collector. He also understood that you had the drive, love and know how to sell the things he had collected.
YOU GUYS TOTALLY MISSED THE "PLANES, TRAINS AND AUTOMOBILES" MOVIE REFFERENCE!!! I just knew CHASE was on that. I love watching you guys!! Your team has renewed my spirit. It's very rare to see people of faith in this area of youtube. KEEP GOING!!!! Be Blessed!!!
it's amazing how easy it is to find collector's information nowadays. I'm a long term magic player and I remember back in the 90s when you couldn't just look up a card price online. There was a monthly magazine that had the prices and that was it.
You guys got the deal of a lifetime on all that. The trains alone will pay for it all and then some. There were multiple pieces that ya showed when loading that were $500-1000. I deal in buying and selling trains and i also collect them and can only dream of finding something like that
Yes more vlogs about both store buyouts. Locker Nuts on TH-cam bought a locker full of trains for $1. I think he’s made close to 100k from it if not more. I love all your content.
Also appreciate that you start with the more expensive items. I’ve never done it that way, because I’ve always wanted to get the grunt work done and over with, but it’s an interesting concept that I might do in the future.
All these huge buyout videos are amazing! But I do still love the smaller yard sale videos. I wouldn’t mind a weekly rotation. Like Hobby Shop, Game Barn, Yard Sales, etc.
Graduated from Richmond 02 that hobby store was always so cool spent a bunch there. Good times!! Worked at iga in town and flamingo, well its not anymore.
As a guy from Finland I laughed my ass of when you held the Rapala Risto Rap lure. Rapala is from Finland and I had no idea they had lure called Risto Rap. We have this childrens book series / Movie series here called "Risto räppääjä" which translates to "Risto the rapper". Never knew Rapala named a lure from that
This guy does it right. It’s so silly to go to thrift stores and stuff like that. Back when, sure. Now? You aren’t finding anything. Time is money. Buy collections and split up. With good organization, patience, and money to invest, you can do good
