I took my daughter to see her March 2017 New Zealand---it was the only concert she performed on her world tour in torrential rain--and she sung for 2hrs,completely drenched we all were, but her vocals were amazing. I wonder how many other artist who think they are prima donnas would have done that--she is sensational.

I'm a lighting designer / technician and I feel offended. She is great ! I'm not denying it. You have to admit that the lighting here is perfect though, simple but really effective. One usually notices lighting when it's badly handled. Anyway, enjoy the show. Edit: never forget the sound engineer who took a part in recording this well. You can be a great singer and sound like sh** when a live is mixed or recorded.

Hi. As simple as it may look, there is a light show. The lights "move"/evolve according to the music, her singing and the audience reaction. All the lamps in the background are each individually controlled through a matrix, making various shapes. There are front lights (warm white) allowing the audience to see her and some cold white movingheads in the back, clashing with the front, giving an intimate atmosphere. Each person on stage has a fixture pointing at them. I could keep analysing but there's no point. With this kind of music, there's no need to have hundreds of fixtures but that doesn't mean there is no lightshow either. Then again, I'm not saying she doesn't sound great. We should remember that a live show is the result of everyone's hard work (on stage and elsewhere)

As a near 70-year-old, I grew up with the Beatles, so I've always been a "classic rock" guy. My wife says "You need to get out of the 1970's". So, in my search for new music, I discovered Adele. And I confess. This live version of "Someone Like You" gave me goosebumps. That voice. Just, Wow.
Adele song is for all ages no wonder as a 11 year old first heard this song kinda flew me away to a new place I'd never known now I'm 21 and it becomes more deeper than ever
As just turned 70 I feel quite the same: we had the best music but luckily also nowadays someone like Adele shows up.

Just Adele and the mic. No dancers needed, no lights, or fanfare. Her voice is the powerhouse to fill all of Royal Albert Hall. Her voice is enough. Just wow.
I'm a lighting designer / technician and I feel offended. She is great ! I'm not denying it. You have to admit that the lighting here is perfect though, simple but really effective. One usually notices lighting when it's badly handled. Anyway, enjoy the show. Edit: never forget the sound engineer who took a part in recording this well. You can be a great singer and sound like sh** when a live is mixed or recorded.

Hi. As simple as it may look, there is a light show. The lights "move"/evolve according to the music, her singing and the audience reaction. All the lamps in the background are each individually controlled through a matrix, making various shapes. There are front lights (warm white) allowing the audience to see her and some cold white movingheads in the back, clashing with the front, giving an intimate atmosphere. Each person on stage has a fixture pointing at them. I could keep analysing but there's no point. With this kind of music, there's no need to have hundreds of fixtures but that doesn't mean there is no lightshow either. Then again, I'm not saying she doesn't sound great. We should remember that a live show is the result of everyone's hard work (on stage and elsewhere)
