Dude it's so rampant in Dead by Daylight right now. People use subtle hacks like 5% speed boost and have the nerve to say things like GG in end game chat as if they aren't cheating. Tons of blatant hackers doing impossible things too but the ones who pretend they aren't doing it are super frustrating.
it happens a lot, i have seen people in a number of games trash talk others when they have hacks, and even in a few cases, see some one else activate counter hacks against only that person, then they start saying the person who turned on counter hacks is so bad that they have to use hacks to beat them

Let me just say this... Phuzzy is an absolute monster. He didn't fight toxicity with toxicity, and managed to best 2 people using hacks... This man is crazy....

@@prouser7150 When people refer to hit reg, they refer to the shots from your gun not registering, not the cannon. Their gun shots are dead on like the old Eye of Reach skellys and miss very few times.

Everytime I encounter those kind of players I feel bad for any new players who encountered them before me. It can be so nerve wracking even trying to talk to them in a calm and polite way after they called you trash and so on. Especially if you were doing some tall tales and only minding your own business.
If I am ever lucky enough to meet you in the sea of thieves I want to play a shanty with you and give you my loot to say thank you.

I'm usually not a fighter because I'm nice, but sometimes I hate having to fight people, knowing I'm going to lose anyway. PvE for me pls.
Once I was new I was alone, just buying stuff on the island, minding my bussines, they arrives and threw fire balls at me, then gave me my boat flag, they said someone destroyed it, and I said thank you, and then they said it was them, and chased me with fireballs, then grabbed my parrot and tried to burn it and laughed a lot, I felt so bad because I was alone and these two guys were just trying to make me feel bad
@@danielaortega1620 see I don't get why people do this. Like I understand PvP is a thing and I'm fine with that I actually enjoy it and think the blend in this game is well done. But to harass new players with nothing to gain just to fit thier bad ego. Idk I'm not a n narcissistic person so it just don't click for me. No honor in a sea of thieves tho. There is a code but you don't have to follow it and people don't have to like it. So I get it... Just won't catch me dread doing it but I appreciate the balance it brings so when you do meet friendly players it's refreshing. That and it's sweet sweet victory when you sink them and they rage like this video.

lol I really doubt they were aim-botting, the shots they were landing are easy shots to land. in the water phuzzy is hardly moving except in a strait line. these players just have above-average aim. If you go to tdm you will find that people have much better aim than this.

Its the main problem with the pvp in this game like sinking ships for loot is one thing but theses guys sink just to please there ego. and the profanity and racist comments are just pathetic at the end of the day its a video game thinking you are better than someone else just because they can kill them reppetably in a game just says you clearly have no life in order to have got that "good" at pvp.
and the fact they have alt accounts is just sad the only reason for that is because they know there racist comments are gonna get them banned but they are too much of a coward to do it on there main account

Stuff, like this happens to my deaf friend all the time she meets a lot of hackers and PC sweats that are super toxic and racist. she’s new but still gives them a good fight, her kindness always triggers them they even go as far as messaging on xbox and mocking her for being deaf. these are the kind of people that are so trash in real life, they’ve to coop by trying to make others feel like trash but when they’re not skilled enough to do so they hack. I feel bad that her experience has been nonstop toxicity and hackers, but she still became pirate legend in just 20 days time and 50 in reapers for her final company ggs and god bless those who don’t pull this crap you’re an amazing person!

Killing toxic hackers has got to be the most fun you can have in a game. When you beat them and the server sees you beat a hacker without cheating you gain so much notoriety and the hacker usually rages so much he physically breaks something; either slam his keyboard or punching his monitor.

I know this video is like 5 months old, but this one made me sub. You and Jackie have the best attitude in a PvX game I've seen in years, and I would feel safe on a server roamed by the two of you, not because I don't expect a fight (And most likely a loss, as I just started 4 days ago) but because I know you'll both be there to take out the trash, all without ever dropping to their level. Sometimes I wonder how can cheaters and scammers in games or real life act like this and think they are funny or cool but its just....no dont do that. It's extremely embarrassing to watch or listen.

Had a duo on a sloop call my friend and I losers in a screechy voice just a minute before we fucking sunk them (our first spawn was on a desert island, so no skins on the ship. They might have assumed we were total noobs)… my friend called him a loser as we sailed away with the little they had (a few harpoons, that’s it).

I played with a guy the other day with a attitude much like yours. The positive demeanor only helps as a team. You communicate much better in situations because there is no much wasted breath. I can't even play with a toxic person anymore because it's annoying and I am to busy trying to bark orders over a loud mouth. It's much more relaxing with a calm headed person

If I have leant anything in this life so far, it's that those who resort to violence, aggression and insults as an instant response are not worth any sort acknowledgment, respect or attention. They should be left alone in hope they may gain some self-awareness as to why no one truly loves and cares for them. I commend you and your other half for the amount of strength and love you held over these people. This was therapeutic to watch, I missed season 1 because of a combination of college work and not wanting to deal with toxic players sinking me during a tall tale. I was just barely pirate legend and I could've qualified to get that legendary curse had I finished the plunder pass, now I can never finish my curses collection. I am glad to see that someone is helping punish people for what they did to guys like myself who just want to enjoy the game with what little time they have.
its a shame that people forget that their playing a game and see the need to only win. If you keep winning all the time it means people are loosing. If people are loosing people are leaving the game. So if their cheating they are killing the game, even when they think they win, they loose and the game devs loose

I think I know these guys or know 2 guys that you ran into that you called out for cheating. They were telling me how bad you were and how they aren’t sure why Rare keeps banning them (one of them was banned 5 times because they have his IP info) for cheating and being racist. I was watching you on twitch when you ran into them and I’m pretty sure this was them, but idk. Anyway, I reported them, blocked them, and left their discord server and I have no regrets. I know this is a older Vod but when you said about the newer persons experience this is what me n my son run into about 80 percent of the time. And this is why its hard for me to want to play with y son cuz its not friar to him or me or anyone else thats new and runs into this all the time. besides the hacking part for us well to my knowledge because I havent played SOT that long to know what to look for if someone s hacking you know LOL. I've had a similar experience like this, not the best at the game but people like this really get under my skin. I like how you handled the situation and didn't stupe to their level. I'm gonna try to do the same the next time a situation like this happens.

While I also get very angry at video games / players, you have to keep the anger to yourself and stay off comms. I'm certain that other players would not want to hear my in-game profanities, and I certainly would not want to hear their profanities either. In other words, scream at your T.V. all you want, no one wants to hear it on comms.
A few weeks back I was playing with 2 friends, one of which had only just bought the game after we managed to convince him as he was tentative, on our second day playing with him we encountered a galleon of hackers, caused my “new” friend to rage quit, he uninstalled the game then tried to get a refund for it as he got super tilted.
Aimbotters are an absolute scourge in this game, it’s super frustrating but watching this made me quite happy, seeing some justice server.
Maybe thats why Rare dont fix hitreg because of cheaters and toxic people like them and game dont have anti cheat so they let hitreg be like that

Just for some background, I'm trans. My voice sounds kinda feminine, so I know I'll be mocked for "being a girl" or some shit in game like that and it makes me so uncomfortable as i identify as a male. If I knew people were nice I'd be open to tell people that, and be able to vc with my friends whilst gaming. But those kinds of people make me so insecure it makes me so uncomfortable
I just can't understand how this feels rewarding. Calling others trash when you yourself are using cheats in a game that quite frankly won't matter the instant you get off. If you want to be good at the game it ain't rocket science that cheats isn't the way to do it. You play that game and get better through the school of hard knocks like anything else. Personally I could take no pride playing that way. Also, why be so vulgar about it? I'll be the first to admit that I get upset when I lose as much as I wish I didn't, but I never once would even think about taking to voice or in game chat about it... I got this game three days ago and I quickly learnt what truly matters: Cashing in the gold. You stole other's cargo and stole and sold it, maybe even sunk the ship? You totally won. Killing other players is not any form of measurement, only means of reaching da booty.

I had a similar situation where I did my best to help new players who were being attacked by toxic people it was amazing to see them sink throwing swears around while they went down 2 sharks apparently knew the situation and finished off the toxic people

People like this disgust me. There is no need for it & I encountered the same cheats earlier. We even had a great battle with another Brig where two of the 3 players gave GGs and were awesome, the 3rd, well! He just trash talked the entire battle & was toxic from beginning to end. Thankfully I don't see toxic player too often and I have only ever encountered 3 cheaters
When ever I run into a toxic player. I turn on my voice changer so my voice is deeper and I push play on the Yakety sax, Trololo song, if we keep pushing I play Never gonna give you up, and at the start of fighting I play the Tin-Tin on theme song as a battle cry.
This happens really often on the eastern european servers too, mainly why I quit that game when I did, I miss the calm feeling of sailing sometimes but I've moved on...

Reminds me of a time when I was joining random crews, I was put in with a bunch of presumably new players on a galley, when we got attacked by another galley. They weren't cheating or anything but they were throwing the "n-word" around like nobodies business. We ended up losing in the end, it made me realise however that there's isn't really a way to report toxicity/hacking in this game. Sometimes you can't even get your attackers names to even be able to report them.
I actually encountered two crews like this in a very short span of time, so me and the rest of the crew (brig) are unfortunately on a break from SoT now because of it. One of them was just toxic, but the other was most likely hacking as well as we chained their mast, immediately began circling around, pounding their sloop with, and I'm not joking, 200 cannonballs non-stop, boarded only to get killed as both of them stood on the deck waiting like there weren't even a single hole in the boat. After that, we brought our ship out of the map just to make sure they wouldn't get a single thing for their 3 hours chase + fight. I can take either hacking or toxic, but both together is just the worst thing in all of gaming.

wow its very rare to come across actual hackers in SoT it feels so pointless and weak, the game gives you so much information passively and such control, its pretty sad these guys resorted to that honestly..

I have not watched the stream live but if anyone shares the VOD I would gladly see what happened.
However, in this video we see a medioker tuckbot crew using doublegun, with better aim than you, but they still missed a lot of easy shots(for example at the anchor when boarding). The fact that they know what towers you are on is not explained by ESP but by mermaids, and them ladderguarding you is not proof of anything but a slightly above average crew. By these standars every other person I play with including myself is a cheater, just because we use doublegun and have better aim that a large percentage of people(note that I for example am not even considered particularly good in the TDM community, but I am definetly better than these guys based on this video). Because someone is considerably better with their aim does not mean cheats, especially when they still missfire. When asked about the cheats, of course he laughed, why wouldnt he? I have been told that I use cheats and I also laughed, most people would, becuase its funny.
For these reasons I do not agree with you calling them cheaters so openly, and if there is anything you have to prove me wrong I would be glad to check it out, knowing that I am not aware of the full context, so there might have been stuff that I have not seen, I would like to be able to arrive at an objecitve conclusion knowing all the facts.
Other than every crew in the game claimed that, search MrxWho on Google . He develops Cheats for SoT, one of these guys that got banned.

Really hate when you just try to have fun in a game and you get people like this, me and my friend got the game recently and we've experienced either really sweaty players or 4 man crews completely obliterate our sloop.
I really need to learn to deal with toxic players, for now I just have VC off on SoT, but once the PvP on demand thing is added, I’m gonna try and deal with them, but Idk

This video is months old but I had a infuriating toxic crew completely stamp my sloop by spawn camping and proceeding to not sink us or take the loot. They were also incredibly rude in chat, etc.
basically not letting us win or lose. A cycle of murder that had no end in sight until I just quit

On my regular crew we all laugh when encountering any especially toxic crew. "Oh you're using a sword, oh you need to use blunder bombs, really? Cursed cannon balls?"
