Gabby, I had the same issue as you. I use to hit a draw and would have an occasional “duck” hook that always got me in deep trouble. The past year I’ve been working on hitting a fade. I’m starting to hit a fade now and I’m very happy. I notice that my miss-hits are less severe. I might lose a few yards because of less roll… but I say fade is the way to go! Oh, all this is with the driver. I don’t know why but I cannot fade my irons. Love you videos!
With the irons they are heavier at the face. And depending on your grip. If it’s a strong grip it will be super hard to fade it. Lessen the grip with the top hand

The greens to me seem faster when the sun's out if its had enough time to dry the green out a bit and yes when the winds are as strong, they do have an effect on the roll of the ball. I would like you do this again in less wind. Nice one as always Gabby.

Here in NJ, early in the morning the greens are usually wet from dew or them running sprinklers at night so the greens tend to run slower early in the morning. I agree with what you said about the sun being out... I notice the greens start running faster around 10 - 11am as the greens start to dry out.
Three hole segments work for me. Gabby, Your stance is open but feels square to you? When do your hands turn over? Well into the follow thru? Just approximately? If I do that It would resemble a slice. Thanks for all you do.
The wind and the sun definitely have a big say on the greens. If it is cloudy there is naturally more moisture around so slower greens. Wind is a putt killer too. It can blow a putt off its line but most importantly the putter head gets turned over. In wind always take a wider stance for stability. This might seem out there, but you remind me of having the fun personality of a Lee Trevino. Keep it up! Always fun to watch. He also used to hit cuts, and I remember he refused to go to the Masters as it wasn't a course he could play well with that strategy.

You hang out on 1 of the par 5 holes and play with each team that comes through that hole. Give a few pointers Pics with the team are included and good cheeseburger is the meal…per your review, Fly in-fly out is on the golfer and you make a lot of money… maybe give a portion to charity/ junior golf. I don’t play golf anymore but would start back again and would attend. Just an idea. Who knows, maybe the Golf Channel will run with it. Count me in.

I think the three hole Glog was about right. 9 holes could get crazy long, and you naturally feel as though you should be constantly chatting to the viewers....which honestly, would wear you out over 9 holes!! But I love your channel, love your love for the game, and love the Glogs. Well done.
Lee Trevino said it best about ball flight..."You can talk to a fade, but a hook won't listen." A lot of pros prefer a cut/fade because it is a more controlled ball flight due to higher backspin. A draw typically has less backspin and more sidespin, which makes it more difficult to control. A draw will tend to roll out more, but it makes it much harder to stop the ball on the green. Wind definitely affects the ball both in the air and on the greens. When hitting into the wind, good contact is crucial. It's why they say, "when it's breezy, swing easy."
You make playing golf in a howling wind look easy. I’ll pass on a round if it’s blowing more than 15-20mph. I’ll play in a straight down pore of rain instead 😂…. Nice uncut video short and sweet. Mark🏌🏼♂️

You're brave Gabby to start the ball out over the edge of the water and work it back to the right into the fairway off the tee box. I would use a 12 degree Driver set to draw bias 12-1/2 degrees , tee'd medium height so as not to over draw it and so as not to balloon it into the wind. I would start the ball down the right side of the fairway and work it back to the middle of the fairway. -- Eric in Texas.
Gabby, if you want to NOT hit a cut i.e. hit it straight or a small draw and not hook it, what you can do is open the Driver face quite a bit, then grip the shaft with a strong 2 or 3 knuckle showing grip. Then really go after the ball and you won't over hook it, but instead hit a pretty straight shot. Arnold Palmer taught me this technique. He is the ONLY golfer I have ever heard of who taught hitting a cut this way instead of opening the stance and weakening the grip and swinging outside to inside. Being a tennis player too, I understand opening the face of the racket to impart cut spin with a downward angle of attack motion on the ball using a weak Continental grip. For the topspin tennis shot you impart more of an upward angle of attack on the ball using a strong semi-Western grip.
I always learn about golf terms every time I watch and listen to Gabby.

What kind of Balls do you use? I know most people play with ProV1"s or TP 5"s but what is your preference?
