I'm glad I didn't fall for the hype. I love coconut. Both smelling, eating, and drinking it. But I don't get the appeal of smelling like suntan lotion. That's what this sounded like. I'll stick with the original Asad. Thank you for the review.
Good review, I was excited when I first saw all the hype, but .......not for the $60 release price. I waited and finally found it for $25, now I am excited. I was able to try it, loved it! Pulled the trigger and wasn't disappointed, smells great and I am getting above average performance.
I am interested in exploring coconut in fragrances... but something about Zanzibar ( and Mancera Holidays - the two I currently have my eyes on) just doesn't grab my attention. And no review thus far has made me feel enthusiastic about it. I can't sample where I live, so it will have to be a blind buy... but somehow I just think I will be just "meh" about it. At this point in my fragrance journey, I really want to be wowed and not just be "it's aaaaiiiiiiggghhhhtt"

I really hate when a fragrance that has been hyped so much lets me down.
It is very nice! I think depending on the skin chemistry also.
They does do fake of famous cheap clones so its not even sure his is real. If you pay 20 dollars its probably fake

It definitely a polarizing scent.
I got it for $21. I like it alot. Good summer scent. Coconut & iris really come through.

Yeah, unfortunately Zanzibar is not wowing me. Maybe it will change after a few weeks of maceration.
I smelled this at the mall a couple months ago. Reminded me of Mexican Arroz con Leche. Milk, cinnamon, raisins, and rice. It was interesting
I am still not wow'd by it. I'm letting it sit for a while and then I'll try it again. But for now I don't care for it too much.

I don't care for it either, smelled it at a local store here in Houston. I also don't smell the hype
