This is exciting to see for my home country. Jamaica is blessed with sunshine - we need to use it to our advantage and lessen our oil imports. I hope to see more of these types of installations all over the island. We can divert our money and resources to better schools, housing, health care, etc. My the universe bless Jamaica and the Jamaican people!!!!

This is great for Jamaica, we need to get the cost of electricity significantly less. And we need a stable and reliable grid and power supply. Power outages outside of external influences must be massively reduced to about once or twice a year.

I hope they have a battery system to store energy, so it could be used at nights. I hope those blackouts are a thing of the past.

Sun and wind (that blows at night) is plentiful in Jamaica, I understand they said.

In Jamaica we don't need natural gas we have a lot land fill around Jamaica and sewage treatment plant witch we could convert into energy

Considering that Jamaicans are still crying about the cost of high electricity bills, an update is needed on how this investment has benefited the people.

This is actually not good use of our best agricultural lands. We should put solar in places that are not good for any agriculture. Only in Jamaica do you see this. In other places, they are to be found in deserts mostly.

This is good for Jamaica there is plenty of farm land in Clarendon. That solor farm is a tiny drop in the bucket. Clarendon has thousands of acreage for farming.
