  • Some couples wish to have members of their family participate within the ceremony. It could be a parent or a sibling or your children. The three most common ways of have them partake within your ceremony is either through:
    #1. Doing a reading
    #2. Having a separate sand container and pouring it into the unity vase
    #3. Lighting a candle.
    Although I have only presented just 3 examples, there are many other ways we can think of and work on together to help your family and friends be a part of your ceremony.
    If family and friends intend on doing a reading during the ceremony, I find it fits best when done either just before the vows or after the ring exchange.
    There is lots of flexibility here and the readings can either be funny or a personal and intimate message addressed to the couple.
