Hey! I am very keen on doing a solicitor apperentership, but I am not sure if I want to sit the sqe and actually become a solicitor, so I was wondering if I could just get a law degree through the apperentership? (Love you videos/energy btw)
Hey! The intention is to start to finish. There’s some providers who have the course up in such a way that if you don’t finish the SQE, you don’t finish your degree apprenticeship. So you’d have finish the whole program. Hope that helps!
Did you have any difficulties in telling your family that you wanted to do a degree apprenticeship rather than just going to uni? If so, what advice do u have for someone who is in that predicament?
I had no issues telling my family, they were very supportive. I definitely research HARD so I could answer every question, if I felt like they needed a PowerPoint presentation- I would have done that too!!!!! But I’d you know the tone of your family I would say make sure that you give them a break down of the apprenticeship, what qualification you finish with and what the plan is after the apprenticeship.
Hello! My Alevel grades were BBC and I think it depends on where you apply. Some place ask for 3 a levels and other places ask for 3 a levels or equivalent. If you’re unsure, I’d contact the company’s recruitment team/HR team, their email is usually somewhere on the website.

Can international students get apprenticeships?
I’m not sure unfortunately!! It’s something you’d have to look into.
