IT'S FINALLY BACK. Well there's not much to say about this matchup. With the support from EX2, the Gallantmon line has become much more consistent. On the other hand, the new Sakuyamon line introduces a completely new mechanic which isn't as supported yet, so it's somewhat lacking in consistency especially due to its reliance on specific cards. There's quite a high demand for combo pieces: you need the new Sakuyamon line, Rika AND some Plugins to pull off your best moves. I really like the deck though. When you have a good starting hand and can turbo into your first Sakuya, dropping a free Rika along the way while accumulating the resources to build your second Sakuya, you can pull off some amazing moves. It happened a few times in my playtesting and Gallantmon simply couldn't keep up. Well, most of the time at least. Crimson Mode... is a monster of a card capable of overturning games even when this happens. That's partly cos I don't want to run Lv.7s in Sakuya so my bosses all have the same highest DP though haha
Glad to see you back! Tho, I do have a question: why not round out the tournament with, say, Leomon.dek and Gulfmon (in combination with the Titamon stuff)?

you incorrectly claimed only gallantmon could have been added to the hand with ex-02 Guilmon, but ex-02 megidramon could have been used because its card name counts as chaos gallantmon, and guilmon only looks for cards with growlmon or gallantmon in their name, not as their names.
That's not what I meant, my friend. I was being dramatic, as in the 'one choice' was BT-02 Gallant to pull off a Blitz into instant lethal from Raising Area. I never mentioned Megidra couldn't be searched.
Not full tournaments for each, but maybe a few matches featuring decks I have my eye on, especially the obscure casual ones like MasterTyranno and BanchoMame

I like the gallantmon deck and the sakuyamon deck because the support Rika has for renamon to sakuyamon and the blitz takato can give to gallantmon
