You are truly amazing! I have used just about every method of transferring my images between mediums. Going from a sketching or photo to watercolor paper or canvas, using a grid, graphite paper, even an opaque projector, a movie projector too! I was so happy to shave even a minute off of my time paid dividends for my ability to sell my art. You create an incredible video explaining just how to create your line art! I am once again in awe of your creative process and your expertise with explaining to your viewers, so great! Thank you Emma for continuing to share your techniques with us. You are dragging us along with you and it is appreciated! Yeah, some of us are quite stubborn and learning how to do anything can be tough. Please take care, be safe and enjoy the rest of your day!

WOW! You are absolutely wonderful, excellent in your artistic talent and how well you teach it too. I am totally addicted to your channel. Thank you so much for all the excellent advice and demonstrations that you give. You have been so helpful to me, as my passion has always been art, art to me is life, it's inspiring and healing in so many ways. I also love, love drawing animals & faces, they are my most favorite subject, and a true challenge to me, because it requires exact precision. I thank you so much for your instruction and how beautiful your works are. I can't say it enough! Thank you.

You can trace on a photo right sized with ultra fine line waterproof ink Sharpie pen or similar brand...the clear tracing of guidelines to paint can be laid over surface and use a oil free graphite transfer paper between the clear tracing and surface then retrace the lines with a different color to lay down lines(like "carbon paper" was used to type letter copies in typewriters:>)

Sorry but i am not sure how you got the grid over the laptop image. What program did you use and where within that program does one find the grid function? Thanks!! Great video as always.

I'm pretty sure there are apps that can add a grid for you these days but I use Photoshop and construct my own grid. I save this as a working .psd file then I can simply add it over the top of any image. I'm sure there are simpler ways but this is what I do.
