Blue Room - Everytime You Go Away - Remix Edit Version

One more remix edited version of the song "Everytime You Go Away" covered by Blue Room and featured in the 1987 film "Planes, Trains and Automobiles". The song was originally written by Daryl Hall and recorded by Hall & Oats in 1980, but the most popular cover version of this song was released by Paul Young in 1985. From Wikipedia, regarding the use of the song for the John Hughes film: "A cover of 'Everytime You Go Away' performed by Blue Room is played over the final scene and the credits; Hughes planned to use Paul Young's well-known hit version but was denied the rights by the record company even though Young approved of Hughes' planned use of the song and wanted to see it included." I personally think Blue Room did a great job covering this song for the film, and it is my favorite scene from one of my favorite holiday movies! In the latest remix edit of this song, I have increased, adjusted, and normalized the volume, and I also did an edit at the beginning and at the end of the brief music heard during the last scene in the original film, to give it a more complete and "finished song" sound. Blue Room was a new wave band from England active in the mid-1980's. They appeared on several John Hughes films' soundtracks, including "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" (with the song "I'm Afraid"), "Some Kind of Wonderful" (with the song "Cry Like This") and "Planes, Trains & Automobiles" (with the song "Everytime You Go Away").

Such a great cover by Blue Room and such a shame their rendition of the song doesn’t appear on the Planes and Trains soundtrack , yet Paul Youngs does. I’ve tried many times searching on music platforms having no luck - such a shame
