Sam Beam is such a great live performer sans band. I love the fact he doesn't have a setlist. I saw him play a show in la jolla when i was a kid and he asked me what song he should play next. I said "Trapeze" and he played it. It was surreal.

I discovered this song when my twin boys were born. I cry at the last lyric every time I hear it.

I found out about this song and artist because I was listening to a brand new play list and one of the songs was Jesse covering this song. And it instantly made me think about my mom and I and how we had a strained relationship but it’s been mending.
