No one said they were bad, it's just a comparison of his best and worst. And even if there's a reason, like he's sick, or he still sounds good, it doesn't really matter it's just worst and best. Besides, we stan Harry, he could never do anything 'bad'.
I feel like in many of these "worst and best"-videos they don't even mean bad and good, the 'worst' can be totally amazing and sometimes better than studio versions but it's just because they're not doing high notes or they're not doing the studio version. Avoiding high notes and doing low notes instead does not make it worse it just makes it different.

he's also always had breathing/pacing issues! espesh w that wmyb solo, he's singing a lot and running around and then it comes to his solo and he's got no breath left. BUT now he's been performing it solo on his tour and its fantastic. he's improved heaps.

actually, he is known for having some really good breath control, i think he was just completely overwhelmed by emotions and nervousness
In the worst Infinity performance, he was actually sick or something and was either not suppose to speak all day (interview included) or not sing and he prioritized their performance and did his best.

Devin G Harry sings songs with too high notes he cannot consistently hit. That’s it. When he’s adding tone it’s because he has to strain to push. Go listen to Mariah Carey trying to hit high notes. gets raspy because her voice no longer naturally supports the high belts.
Imme van Gorp oh please. Harry’s high belts are all studio magic meaning he has to be in the perfect condition to belt them. He needs to simmer down and accept that he already can’t hit those high notes all the time. This means he is putting notes in his songs he knows he can’t hit consistently. Not a bad thing but let’s just call it what it is

a little fact about the “worst infinity” performance is that he had been on vocal rest a while before that performance
People need to realize that 1d (and Harry) are touring artists. It's hard to perform like 3 shows a week (or more), it's natural that your voice is tired & worn out. And singers get sick too, in that "worse Infinity" performance he was sick. Other than that, Harry is absolutely amazing singer with powerful voice & big range and his charisma on stage makes up for some tiny mistakes and cracks.
