    These things where so ahead of their time, especially for the money. i took one from Perth to Melbourne in 2007. Norseman to Ciaguna in 1 hour and 43 minutes and only used 68lts which i thought was awesome considering the speeds involved ! We did the Ciaguna straight in 32 mins. Big single turbo, with STANDARD suspension with good shocks, was definitely 2 hands on the wheel, but the odd 300 plus on the speedo was seen....

    In the tunnel the red two door behind the FD is that a two door lancer non evo thing?we didn’t get them over in England!why didn’t they make a two door evo 🤷🏻‍♂️ could have gone against the 22B and would have looked good imo

    • @fullboost
      @fullboost  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's just a base model Lancer yes. They came in 2 & 4 door. We owned a 2 door one many years ago. They are popular in Thailand.

    Aus spec FDs didn't have back seats either. They did come with leather seats.

  • @SomervilleMetalWorks
    @SomervilleMetalWorks 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I was going to say the only thing that lets this car down is the wheels and fitmant. Ryan then says he got other wheels! Though i think there's only one wheel that should be on FD's and they're not work wheel

  • @markhutchinson3367
    @markhutchinson3367 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Lovely FD. I must say though I highly disagree with the owner's opinion on the S4/5 FC. He had a bad experience as his motor blew on him, but that doesn't represent all FC's. When sorted, they are amazing cars that are incredibly fun to drive. They have an iconic classic look. Best thing, is that they are still relatively affordable compared to the FD.

      Saw a vid pop up on the tube earlier this week, a guy in the U.S. with one saying it was $90kUSD as a stocker.
      If you want it, and you got dollary-doos you buy it.
      (Disclaimer Ryans car is effing mint, no idea on a price!)

    Beautiful, beautiful masterpiece, but today's cats used wheels that are TOO big! No more than 16 inch wheels should be used. Sports cars should be LOW, like old Jags, & C-3 Vettes. Still a badazz car.

  • @jadesmith6823
    @jadesmith6823 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Put the wheels on then. 🤦
