Saint Patrick's Cathedral NYC Walking Virtual Tour

Join me on a walking tour through the iconic Saint Patrick's Cathedral New York City on 5th Avenue. St. Patrick's is where NYC Roman Catholic Cardinal Dolan presides over mass. Directly opposite Rockefeller Center, Saint Pat's is a NYC landmark. It was shocking to see the cathedral void of the thousands of tourists who flock here.

What a beautiful and thorough video of this great space. I visited here with a friend for my only visit here in 1977. Much brighter than I remembered seeing it. I bought an album of the great organ and have it to this day....lol...thank you for this video from Austin.

In my 49 years, I have been to the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and the Cathedral in Cologne, Germany. When I was in New York a few weeks ago, I toured St. Patrick's with my wife and lit 6 candles. St. Patrick's is the closest thing to the cathedrals I saw in Europe. This video comes close to capturing what you see in person and I'm glad to see it here online.

Beautiful! I first heard of SPC New York due to the funerals of the two New York cops who tragically lost their lives while on duty. Since then I have regularly watched the daily stream of Mass whenever I can. Thanks for sharing this video. I'm intrigued by the green doors at 06:16 which appear to lead under the altar.
