@@balenciagafinalboss Only one, but its very useful for patternaking. removes the need to do actual math. Currently I'm making another pair of pants using it and I made quite a strange pattern with quite a few cut and sew pieces so I will see how it goes.
i just got into this but the way you created the volume at the hip by adjusting the angle….. that was genius actually i think the founder of Mugler (Manfred Thierry Mugler) did something quite similar in the 90s with his peplum jackets but that was before access to things like CLO3D - really makes you appreciate the technique so much more
if you want a pic of the back, normani (the singer) wore this a couple months back and there is a fabulous picture on her instagram of the back, very clear
what do you use for animation at 1:10 ? I usually use dazstudio avatars imported into clo but that leads to a loss of facial expressions, what kind of workflow do you use for that animation? I'd say metahuman but how do you import the garment with the same texture quality of clo and how do you keep its physical cloth properties? and please where do you get such cool animations? T-T i've been looking for months for some more dynamic and natural animations... thank you!
This tutorial is not about speed necessarily, it's about learning new techniques. People who watch them often have no idea where to start and can't recognize a basic block and how it all connects. But if you build it from scratch and see it get developed before your eyes, you're much more likely to 1st, understand how important pattern drafting is to the final result, 2nd, better comprehend the geometry behind the shapes.
Your pieces are advanced. You explaining advance pieces to the beginners so its too much explanation. Im a little bored. But overall i love your work a lot. Just too much explaining about clo.
You guys have helped me make my first pair of trousers and I'm already working on something new
How many pieces have you made using Clo3D already ?
Love to hear it and keep going! You've already climbed a very steep learning curve

Literally every single question you've asked it covered in the Masterclass, including the correct workflow
This would be easier cutting from a sloper cause these pattern peices are so skewed
