FINALLY BACK ON THE LITTLE WHITE! [ and Kalob's first lap ever]

- Well it might not be floodstage, but the sunshine finally brought us some medium low-ish flows in the Little White. So we finally got our first lap of the season, as well as finally got to introduce Kalob to the gem that is the Ldub, and I think he might have enjoyed himself.

I always love the level of stoke that Dane has
sweet, I think it would be cool to have you voice over the runs a bit on your videos, and just talk about the rivers and the runs. What you look for what to watch out for . Maybe not every video, but it would be extra cool on some of these famous runs if you broke it down for us.

@@danejacksonkayak First let me say that I absolutely love, love ,love 🤩 your channel content thank🙏 you so much for sharing . I personally 💯 prefer the natural organic immersive aspect of these videos and feel like a voice over would change the whole experience of the viewer. Maybe making a compilation video of tips ,tricks and recommendations would be better than distracting from the raw experience that videos with no voice over brings . I love the idea of learning and having more information and would definitely be interested to hear the voice of experience on any of this , just not on any video so majestic that a commentary would deter me from returning to watch over and over again . Thanks for reading ✌️😎.
Like someone else commented, it would be cool to have a quick explaination on the drops, especially where there's a definite aim to do this, don't do this.

Looks sick! I have a question, how come you use your paddle to push yourself over drops instead of just going over them normally? Keep up the awesome videos from England :)
You mean why take strokes as we go over the lip?
@@danejacksonkayak Yeah, you seem to use the paddle to pump yourself over the edge
@@livz666 Yeah that's to keep the front of the boat as high up as possible over the features. It's called a Boof, it's so you can get over features easily and not get stuck in them.

Hello Dane really wanted to know where you position your seat front to back in the nirvana? Also what is your height, weight, and Nirvana boat size? Thank you for answering all the questions!
I am 5'6" 152lbs. I use the medium and sit with the seat one back from middle. I also sit as low as possible.
@@danejacksonkayak Thanks Dane, could you take a pic of your outfitting and post it please? I have taken my new medium Nirvana for one run so far, almost got back looped in a hole. I found it to be stern heavy compared to the Karma. You are a few inches shorter and only 10 lbs lighter, so I will have to experiment with the seat position.

Which tape do you use for your paddle? And can you give me a link? I search for some and I can not find some nice tape
Posted a recent video talking about that. But i just use normal electrical tape that you can buy at any hardware store

How does the little white compare to the green river narrows?
Two extremely different runs. Both great runs and ultra classics. But the Green has more slides and those style rapids, while the little white is more boulder garden boofs.
1: Dane” time for the elbow pads” puts them on thore arms 🤔🤔🤔
2: can we take a moment to look at the thumb nail like Dane must take sometime on those 👌👌👌
