No they won’t. I thought the same thing but I have a bambino fiddle leaf fig, Chinese evergreen, and pothos that I did this to and all of them are doing fine and establishing a bunch of new roots. The most important thing is to remember that these plants will need maintenance. I make sure to change the water out every 5-7 days, and I also spray the roots with hydrogen peroxide. When I change the water I check for any gummy roots and cut them out. In the beginning before I started using hydrogen peroxide the root rot was a problem with the fiddle leaf but it is doing very well now. I caught it early enough to save the plant and now the roots that are growing in are thick and white instead of the stringy and copper. I also provide all the plants with a squirt of liquid plant food so the plants have the proper nutrients. I’m thinking I can probably grow all of my plants in water now, but we’ll see. It seems like all of the plants are making adjustments to survive in their new environment. Hope this helps.
Beautiful video, thanks .But there are no comments on what base each plant received in these beautiful containers .I appreciate very much for the tips given ( without commentary)Regards

All those soil roots will get rot in few days, you should have taken fresh branches of plants with stem instead of well established plants

@@rajeshwarinarayanan2846 it’s Miracle Grow indoor plant food. I picked it up from Home Depot
Can we plant fruits bearing plants like this?
Trees can't be grown in water. Only water loving plants, like pothos, philodendron, croten, pennywort, can be ket like this.
