Its got so many features that Toyota is missing out on that would make the 4runner a lot more fun and special to have. Plus the acceleration is much more responsive than the 4runner ever had.

I traded in my 2020 CRV for a 2024 CRV EX. I am really loving it. I do miss some of the features from 2020 in the new 2024 EX. The feature of the CRV locking by itself when you walk away 10 feet is not working properly on mine.
Just picked this car up yesterday, 5December. One of the things I didn’t like right away was the fact that the vehicle won’t connect to Apple car play through the USB-C port. You have to use the other port so that requires me to have two different cables in my car for my phone.

I think it would be very very tight. I owned a 2018, traded it in for a 2020, traded that in for a 2024…. I can tell you I really noticed how much smaller inside the 2024 is especially in the front. I’m a plus size person and I really see it in the drivers seat. The 2020 was the best. As big as car seats are I’d say probably no to the average size person but absolutely no to a person more on the heavy size.

on the EX-L I test drove, when using apple carplay navigation, it would show my next navigation instruction on the gauge cluster. Is that an EX-L only function? I didn’t see it when you were scrolling through the driver gauge options

@@CT-4-EVER Right now the fuel economy is not going to peak during the winter season because the engine is going to use more fuel to warm it up. Sometimes you have to put in a few thousand mileage before getting a good average MPG.
They did remove the fog lights, home link (garage door), and cargo over. While they have added traffic jam assist, traffic signed, rear seat reminder, open the visibility through and around the windshield and side mirrors, added a snow mode, gone from 160-watt audio system with 4 speakers to having 240-watt audio system with 6 speakers, and a couple small changes.
Somebody has a video of a Civic doing 700K miles with same turbo on 1.5T, it may even be the same clutch, lighter vehicle but still good signs from Honda.
I have a 2017 Civic EX-T with th 1.5L. 82k problem free miles so far. I would buy the HR-V if it had that engine. Tons of high mileage exampls out there.
The gauge cluster is primitive. It isn't even sharp or crystal clear. The interiorwise is just OK not the greatest. Other competitors have a way much better material interior than this.
Nobody uses CDs anymore. They're obsolete! USB flash drive is the way to go or your smartphone music app. The interior features are NOT the best nor user-friendly. The infotainment center NOT the best either.

I would check under the menu option on the touchscreen our play with the volume during an inbound call as it's ringing)
Can’t find the release lever inside the crv to open the trunk without stepping outside or using the key fob 😢
The EX trim doesn't have a powered lift gate. You have to manually open the hydraulic trunk/hatch.

Shocked to find out that my 2024 cr-v hybrid sport doesn’t support wireless CarPlay.
Only on the Sport-L, EX-L, and Sport Touring.
Love the new Honda CRV but that 1.5 liter engine is a no for me.
The Honda HRV is a size down but with the 2.0 liter or the Passport is a big jump up for size and pricing. Thanks for watching
