Will not atempt to tie this fly until I order some from you! I agree with the red rabbit gill slash, so effective, , nice touch. Also I fish for stripers, and agree with bufordbray comments, that they will be highly effective. Last week, landed a 15# striper, fought for 32 minutes from 43 ft., down to 63ft, then back up to the surface. Fishing a 9 weight, and yes, as Bufordbray says, hold on! Nice pattern and look forward to trying it.
@cancerkid888 The tail is made up of bucktail, gray icelandic sheep, peacock hearl and pearl and silver flashabou. The gill material is red rabbit. When the tail is complete Bart then uses ICE FUR to keep the entire tail portion from fouling while fishing. The main body material is EP Sparkle brush. You can find all of our stuff on. Hope that helps Tight Lines, Tim Landwehr
Thinking about tying this for the walleyes at my favorite lake. On this particular lake, it's a shallow mudhole of about 3000 acres, the deepest spot is around 10' deep at best- might be a couple 15 foot holes. Most of our fishing is done in less than 6 feet of water casting towards the shoreline early and late in the day, even at night in mid-summer. Shad are the primary forage fish, but we've also found small bullheads, hellgramites, and mayflies in their gut when we've cleaned them. Great video, I will have to go over to the website to get the "grocery list". I think I tied this fly in a class a few years back taught by a guide who you might know? I don't live too far from you guys in a neighboring state, it's quite possible.
Hey Bart what's new are you still flien hope so brother. Your pattern is excellent l ve recently added an internal rattle to your minnow it is designed to be put in a a plastic worm I've been taking winter browns and bows off it!!! Thanks a bunch!!!
Really good looking fly man, I feel honored that you subscribed to my page after seeing this video..really really nice. You should tie that fly with some salt water colors for us salty Boys, at the end you should apply some sally hanson hard as nails over the head to have the fly keep its shape..great looking fly well made.

Yes. Very effective. Just make sure the line and rod can handle the weight of the fly.
Lmao this is my 5th grade teacher
what was that second body material. ???
Would you ever tie it on a B10S?
what size eyes do you use?
What vise are you using?
beware of Pike attacks!
