Honestly I love the fact that you modded a 250 mainly because I have one 😂 . I know it’s bias but hey 🤷🏽♂️ the 250’s never get love because everyone is so fixated on having the fastest car. To answer your question you seem super happy with the car and if that’s what gives you the energy and vibe to continue to make these videos and enjoy life that’s 1000% worth it.

Same here i just got a 3IS 250 back in June & honestly it’s definitely not a slouch when it comes to speed, everyone tries to say it’s a slow car but honestly it’s pretty quick for it to be a 2.5 V6

Idk about that. Much respect to this dude grindin but dropping $60k into a car that won’t resale for 1/4 of that isn’t a good business decision. Again, no disrespect to him but his views don’t justify the car being a sound business decision. I bought my GSF for $10k less than what he has in this car. He could have bought an ISF for $25k and invested the rest for a better return than TH-cam.
@@theylive2749 Sure there are a lot a factors that go into blowing up on youtube but modifying a car like an IS would be more relatable to a bigger target audience. A car as rare as an ISF won't be something the average "car person" would search. So his videos on the mods he's done for the IS would have a bigger reach.
An example would be some channels that feature the BMW 335i like Adam LZ. The car is cheap to own(relatively) in comparison to an M3. Had Adam owned an M3 straight for the get go, who knows his channel would be at the level it is today. Again like I said, many other factors contribute into the success of a channel.
Also a final note. If he bought the ISF, the amount of money it would require to make mod videos for business/entertainment purposes would be many times higher.
They Live I mean, I personally don’t like the ISF inside or out. It’s only respected because it’s v8 but it’s an ugly car lol. I also didn’t spend 60k and I do feel like this channel would not exist if I got another car that’s already being vlogged with on TH-cam. That to me is strategy. Regardless of what the resale value is, it doesn’t matter because I don’t plan on selling the car lol. There are already plenty of videos on the F series cars and what not. Plus, even if I had $60k, why buy a car just to not be able to mod it. To me, that’s extremely boring, sure you get a nice car that’s fast or whatever but it doesn’t have you own unique taste to it. But that’s just my own genuine opinion. This car has done way more than I have ever asked for lol. I’m grinding and finally doing TH-cam, which is what I’ve always wanted to do! So I’m def grateful for this lil cute ass 250😭
Plus, why don’t you tell every other TH-camr that they should invest instead of living their dreams lol. I don’t think people want all the money in the world like others, I personally want to do something that I genuinely enjoy and still get paid for it

just curious, how would u compare the gas mileage u got in ur m3 with what u get w ur IS350?
@@hsl2208 it's better for sure. I mostly drive in the city and got ~10-12 mpg in the M3 and 18-20 mpg in the IS 350. Long highway drives going 75 I got 17 mpg in the M3 and 25 mpg for the IS. It doesn't seem like a huge difference but I've been at the pump much less

i have a project 2007 is 350 so far i have dont some serious modifications
1. my 350 didnt have a moon roof so i bought a is250 with a moon roof and swapped the entire roof
2. that gen of lexus has a issue with sticky dashboard so i had to import a dash from England because its a rhd
3.h&r springs
4.slotted rotors
5.complete obx exhaust system
6. front lip side skirts rear diffuser rear window diffuser
7.since its a jdm lexus the radio comes in Japanese so i had to import a radio from England because the usd radio couldn't work
8. upgraded front seats to isf seats
9.change color of roof interior to black
10.custom flat bottom sterring wheel from irland
11.19inch wheels
12.custom side mirrors
mods that will be dont
1.complete color change to red from blue
2. stage 1and 2 performance tune burble will be added
3.sound system will added later

I’ve spent almost the same on my heavily modified Lexus GX 460 overland build. Full interior storage system, on board air, trunk table, modular rack, shift knob, gauges, cameras, lights, giant tent, skid plates,etc. I could go on 😂 I’ve been thinking about adding some proper vip style mods once I’m finished with the performance mods. If I do a couple of performance mods (suspension, wheels, tires, snorkel, & breathers) then I’d be right at your $44,000 budget. If I add the vip stuff I want (tables, wireless charger, stars, stereo, curtains, tint, hookah, refrigerator, etc.) probably ~$60,000. I also paid $26,000 cash out the door for my Lexus, bone stock 1 owner soccer mom oil change every 2000.

It’s just a car guy thing! We don’t really care to much about money because it comes and goes! It gives us more of a drive to work harder for what we want! I think it’s so boring to settle and buy some expensive car and keep it stock. There’s no fun in that life to me😅
