Good Grief: Growing Through Grief and Loss

Welcome to University Presbyterian Church. We are happy to welcome George Hinman back this week as he begins a new sermon series "Unstuck: Growing through Grief". The first installment of this series is drawn from Job 1:1-13 and bears the title "Good Grief".
The past is not the past if it's still influencing your present. We know that life moves on, but sometimes we just can't move with it. We're stuck. Stuck in the familiar. Stuck in sadness. Stuck in bitterness. Because we've lost something important to us or fear losing something important to us. But with Jesus loss turns into gain, and what's stuck sooner or later gets unstuck.
