A Yamaha Pacifica is the first guitar I ever owned. It was a gold burst base model. I played the heck out of that thing and it held its own.
I eventually sold the guitar, and have owned many guitars since, including a MIM Fender Strat and PRS SE, but I eventually came back to my roots and purchased a 112V Yamaha Pacifica.
It just feels so right in the hands, and I love the tone!

My 3 guitars are all SE's (Custom 24, Mira and Standard 24) and I would LOVE to play a Pacifica but none of the guitar shops around me have them. =(

Thank you very much for your video, it sounds good and you make the guitar sound the best.
I have that guitar for a few years now.
I don't have the level that you have or even close to it.
In my opinion, it is a good guitar. It has a bright sound and depending on the amp it can sound a little shrill.
What I like least is that the width of the nut is a little narrow (41mm) and the strings are too close together.
I recently changed the nut for a acoustic guitar bone nut of 43mm that I had to sand to adapt , and it has improved a lot the playability.

Whenever i adjust the tone knob I get this buzzing sound that's just too loud, the tone knob is also much looser than the gain. I just got this guitar yesterday but is there a problem with it or am I doing sum wrong?

I don't understand what buzz you mean exactly. But check that you have all the screws in place and tightened first.

@@AlbertoMartinezDelRio thx for responding so quick! The sound is like static/white noice and I can't use the tone knob because when i just turn it up just even a little the noise increases drastically. I've tried to tighten the knob but it doesn't get tighter or remove the noise. I could send a video if u want to know what noise I mean, i can offer $ if u help me find a solution cause i cant find any online :(

Does it only happen to you with that guitar? First, rule out that the problem comes directly from the guitar ... From what you say, it could be a shielding problem ... Check that the cable on the back is well soldered to the vibrato plate, for example ... If you can not see the problem you can send me a video through my instagram that is on the main page of my channel via MD.
