HI Eugene, I emailed the hut directly. Although it was noted that they only response to Japanese language, they replied to mine. The dates for reservation is different for each year. You need to google them for 2019. But generally it coincides with the climbing season. Good luck !
HI Bella, thanks . Yes I reached Tokyo the day before, check into my accommodation for 1 night and took the Fuji 5th station bus from Shinjuku the next morning. I left my luggage at the accommodation and just brought what i need to last me for the climb.
@@LordArioh I've done it! :D Problem with hut is that there is too many people and you can't really sleep (I maneged 1hrs sleep), next time I'm gonna use jet lag to my advantage and hike overnight...
@@drimer9 overnight is not so cool, while I was walking down at midnight about 3 hours, all you can see is some city lights in a distance, and the rest is pitch black. And flashlight gathers a ton of different flying bugs. tho I walked around summit, the weather didn't let me to wait for sunrise.
Hi Kerlin, I am not sure if you can rent boots at the 5th station at Fuji, but I am sure there are some rental shops in and around Tokyo who caters for these. Personally I brought my own.
That looks incredible- thank you for taking us along.
Glad you enjoyed it
Sadly missed this during my trip. Definitely on my list when I'm in Japan again :) thx for sharing

How long is your walking stick? I’m trying to find a suitable container to fly back with one next month. Thank you!
mine was the longest one. I send it back via the Japan postal services
Hi, we are staying at the same hut. Do we need to carry a sleeping bag? Thank you
I didn't bring my sleeping bag but I saw some who did. I had all my layers on when I slept. it's faster for me when I woke up and ready to go.
Thank you! Did they provide quilts and things?
@@amybrierley2485 no they don't. they just provide u a space to lay down. :) just go without any expectations. it's simply basic.

Your dinner looks good. I too climbed 6th Aug.
Yes it was tasty.
hi just curious how long u took to climb mount fuji!
Hi Wei Qiang, in this climb it was 2 days 1 night. I spent one night in at the mountain hut and peak in the early next morning.
Maybe you can give info on how much food, climbing sticks, etc are. Pls take views of the trail, we know how you look.
You can find these on Google maps.
