No wonder it tastes metallic, all you did was put a tiny drop of applestroop on your spoon. You tasted the spoon because there wasn't enough appelstroop for you to try. Also 1/10 is wrong because it's actually delicious. Put it on some bread (real bread like they have in europe) or a pancake (also real european pancake, not the thick american cake disks) and you will see how tasty it is.
