If I remember correctly, a korean reactor explained how cigarettes aren't allowed to be shown in MVs being smoked or whatnot so very often they are symbolised by lollies
In Jin's short film Awake and in the lyrics he makes references to the other members and he calls them flower petals. The flower petals in this MV are a metaphor for the other members and they show that Jin is theoretically holding the other member's destiny/fate in his hands because he is the one who changes time and messes everything up. Also the flower petals were a lily which symbolizes innocence, so by burning them, it is showing that they are losing their innocence, and Jin has the flower bloom over his heart because the boys ARE his heart. Lastly (sorry this is long lol) the lollipop symbolizes RM's innocence, but when he drops it, it turns into a cigarette, which is a symbolism for adulthood ( and sin I guess if you want to connect it so BST)
So the main theory is that Jin is the only one that knows that V killed his father (V’s father abused him and his little sister) and that V is now feeling depressed and guilty. Jin knows he tried to kill himself and so in run when the cards fall and Jin looks away, he knows something is wrong. When the boys are all together those are memories. When they are alone, that is now. So JHope is addicted to drugs, Namjoon is trying to stop smoking by having lollipops, Suga is burning his room and wants to die in there, Jimin is burning the Polaroids and is trying to drown himself, Jungkook doesn’t care about anything and wonders around, Jin is in a hospital I think and the petals represent time? I’m not sure about Jin at that part. This is a brief description. There is way more detail. Just look up BTS I need you era theories.

He turn back time in euphoria and at the end he dies when he is standing on that thing because he doesn’t want anyone else to die. But in theory as well, they all die in those series one way or another. It’s all just theories. This one that I’ve read just makes the most sense to me so that’s why I’m sticking by it but yours makes sense too.

This all makes sense now- the Webtoon ‘save me’ and smeraldo books- the notes, is based on the BU (bangtan universe) the storyline Is shown in some music videos. So if you read the webtoon, the music videos make sense as they tie into the plot. Bighit is genius. They’ve been planning for the webtoon for years now and they’ve created an intricately detailed universe and plot. Props to them 👏

Aight aight so the theory is that jhope attempted to overdose but failed because he wakes up. Jimin is attempting to drown himself. Jin is basically seeing all his friends suffer (there is a theory hes a time traveler but that's kinda been confirmed since the webtoon) yoongi is dead he killed himself. V killed his dad since he was abusing his sister. Rapmon basically goes to jail because he got into a fight with that dude who was getting gas because he was being disrespectful. Jungkook got beat up by mysterious people. So thats basically like a sum up of whats happening
To understand things better,I think you have to read the translated notes that came with the albums.New notes came out with the love yourself album tear album as well.There are many translations and they are not all in chronological order.Each note is from the perspective of one of them during a point in time.There are actually dates on each note to help you with the order though.But they are at different times so they raise even more questions.But they will help you understand more about the characters and their perspective and what happened to them and their relationships.

Jhope: after he “broke up” with his “gf” he used drugs to calm himself to he overdosed and fainted at the bridge. Jungkook: He was suicidal I think 🤔 and tried to take his life by getting hit but he got in trouble with some thugs which ended up beating him up and jungkook couldn’t do anything so he took the beating RM: has a habit of smoking *not in reality* so he’s using eating lollipops as to get over his addiction. Thts all Ik I don’t remember the other ones but at least I tried👌🏾 love ya lots ❤️
