Thanks for the video! I have a 2016 428i grand coup. Just took your advise and just ordered the MST inlet and air cooler. Figured I'd get the Go Fast diverter valvue ordered to put that in first. The exact same thing happened to me on my 2014 f34. What I did was switch to heat and then back to cooling and what you said makes sense, because, probably, that sensor warmed up while on being on heat.

I actually read in a BMW official(looking) report that it's a known behavior and the only possible thing to do would be to check the angle of the temperature sensor inside the air flow pipes, or something like that. I took everything apart but wasn't able to see anything out of place. Seems like "it's a feature, not a bug" sort of thing. BMW says this is happening when the outside temperature is very high and the output temperature on the inside is very low(those are the exact circumstances I use my AC in XD). Awful engineering

Probably happened because you were driving in eco pro. AC is set lower in this mode.

Did it ever happened again? Just subbed, just bought an f30 for a daily build a week ago and it just started doing it randomly after blowing ICE cold 40 mins before.

It did not, it only happened when it was cranked up for over 4 hours driving through Arizona in 117 degree weather! I turned it off, then it worked.

I get the low pressure issue when I’m driving for about and hour in 85+ degree weather. I have a 2014 428i. Sucks cause I can’t find a permanent solution to it..

It’s the oil temperature not coolant lol o it’s not engine temperature
