Firstly Huge Mabrook on the arrival of your beautiful little prayer!! And belated Ramadan Mubarak to you too!!
OMG! Regarding boobie milk supply! Where do I start?! With my first, I had NO IDEA what I was doing. I combination fed as I had no proper guidance on how to properly maintain breast feeding! No knowledge regarding supply and etc.
Like you.. with my second I was ready to give it my ALL! Just to be able to say to myself, that I genuinely tried. I did SOO much research and prep! And I preservered SOO MUCH! And it really worked in my favour alhamdulilah! One thing I will forever and always say, is your supply is dependant on your demand.
The more you stimulate your nipple and the more baby sucks at the breast, the better this is. It lets your breast know that there's a larger demand. Therefore, it will make a larger supply.
If baby is feeding every 3 hours, then those nipples need to be stimulated EVERY 3 HOURS! Your boobs need to know that there is a demand for milk, every 3 hours! If baby isn't on the breast every 3 hours, and some feeds are replaced with a bottle and etc. Get a breast pump and stimulate those nipples during that time!! Yes, it's double the work. But the less the stimulation, your body will genuinely think that there is no need to produce much milk and that's when your supply drops. I can't stress that enough! So if you put your baby on your breast for 4 our of 8 feeds, your body will only produce enough milk for 4 feeds!
Little tips, on top of all the above tips, would include, pumping after a feed. Or putting baby on breast more regularly than you normally do. Like whenever they start rooting. Even if it seems they're feeding every hour! Follow their lead! Your boobs will acknowledge that there is a GREATER demand and supply will gradually increase. This doesn't take a day or two btw lol. A wee bit longer than that, but perseverance is key. Also look into power pumping!! This helped me so much. Be weary that too much stimulation/expressing can lead to an over production. So look into all these things. You may see an increase after a week or 2, after doing all these things!
Finally don't stress! Fed is best. Remember that! I'm sure, stress kills milk supply!
I wish all you amazing mothers the absolute best. I PROMISE you, you CAN DO IT!! I pray our efforts count as a form of Ibadah and I pray Allah SWT makes it easy for us all! Ameen x

Hey Manal, I’m currently nursing as well and I decided to fast then I noticed my supply going down so I had to break my fast for like five days but i’m back at it again since I did some research on things to bring my supply back and here’s what I found that helped me A LOT! So coconut water REALLY helped my supply MashAllah i have it during suhoor and after i break my fast and it really helps, oatmeal, moringa powder you can add that your smoothies and brewers yeast you can also add that to your smoothies or whenever you bake cookies or anything. ALSO, you don’t need to fast if your not able too obviously I just decided to because i miss it since i was pregnant last year and didn’t fast (also i wanna lose some weight 😂) lol but this will help your supply whether your fasting or not❤️ hope this helps love you 😘
