That's very close to what I have in mind. I'd glue on a 2" sacrificial piece on the bottom, to be cut off and replaced as needed. And, I'd us a 1/4 plastic screw and wing nut for and adjustable push plate. After using it a while, I might build a better iteration. Thanks for sharing your plans.
Hello Karl, I am watching this video for the second time. Because I started making 6 different design push rods. Your in this design was beautiful. I wanted to watch it again. By the way, your voice sounds amazing. Even more awesome than TV newscasters' voice :-) the new microphone is very good in my opinion. 'll see. cheers my friend... Mehmet.
Nice work, the narration really helps the video I think. This style of push stick has been my favorite and it is by far my most watched video, so hopefully this will catch the views and help your channel grow!
Contact with the blade can cost you one or more fingers or use of your hand. A kickback can maim your face, break your ribs, or even take your life. This design greatly reduces the probability of a kickback while keeping your hand and fingers well away from the blade. It's an excellent design. Thanks for sharing it with us. (What's the brand of the $30 router? I couldn't catch the name.)
Thanks Tomasz I just read your about so I now know where you are from however your accent is very different from my Polish friends, I do mixed martial arts and lots of polish lads train along side me. I have also spent some time in Poland during my army days.
@@karlpopewoodcraft nice one mate, hope you enjoyed your stay👍 yes well been here 14 years and it seems I pick up this Leicester/ Birmingham accent. Strange mix 🤣
Awesome job Karl and thanks for showing us your build tutorial. Keep up the great work buddy and in no time your going to be BIG ATB GL & HH LittleJohn_MD 🇬🇧
Was gonna ask where you got your stickers. I made a logo for my channel but need to make a better one. Had to laugh at the outtakes. Sometimes you lose the ability to speak on camera lol.
I have a push stick of a similar style. The ability to apply downward pressure on the work piece is a huge benefit. Nice job!
Yes it's excellent I'm wondering why I've waited so long to make it 🤔 just subscribed to your channel mate and will have a binge later. 😉😊

Oh thank you so much for the compliment John I really appreciate it. ☺️
Wouldn’t it be easier to use the miter saw to cut the angles off the top?
The short angle would fine on a miter saw however the longer angle is too acute.
Funny i could swear your twin brother done this the other day :)
Ye he did but he was trying to be to fancy with the editing so I kicked the idiot out the shed and did it myself 😂. Hope you liked the video Davy. 😊
Not watched the entire video yet but so far you have used 9 electric tools to make this.
What is your point?
