Do you need an ethernet/phone cable to actually use the device or can you use a SIM card instead asking coz in living in a cabin and don't have an ethernet cable so looking for sumthing like a portable wifi router but for gaming

you can use this as a portable WIFI device, just need a SIM with a active internet connection.
No need of Ethernet cable.
