This is true. Big companies are doing everything they can to make their white staff leave without retrenching them. This is to the point of bordering on constructive dismissal. We will eventually have to apply for remote work opportunities with foreign companies. Keep a foreign bank account so that SARS can't get their grubby paws on the money earned since we have been excluded from the local economy.

In 6 years from starting a business in SA I've gone from 20% admin and 80% doing business to 70% admin, 30% doing business and paying 5 other external companies to manage government regulations.
Get a CRM system and others, will cut your costs down significantly on admin.

I have just turned 40. I am a white dude in SA. I have come up against BEE time and time again. In the last 6 months it has been a major problem for me trying to put bread on the table. I work for a company that does not have BEE and its ruined me as a Sales guy trying to land contracts . But it has basically happened to me my entire working career. It is not fair. I grew up poor. My mom could not afford school fees and was not able to afford uni or anything. I never grew up with any advantages, but i feel that right now i am being hamstrung because of my colour.

BEE compliance is not compulsory unless a law requires it. There is no law which currently makes it compulsory for agents to be BEE compliant. The PPRA can face legal resistance. It is ONLY required if agents want to work with organs of state.

An estate agent is not required to buy or sell property, cuts out unnecessary commissions being deducted from the sale price. It may be a pain in the butt to do show days etc., maybe worth it in the long run.

Harvey it is a reality for white people. There is a bloodbath in the mining sector of white people getting fired because they are white. BEE.
Kumba started a cleansing program in 2017. Since then the Senior management has more than doubled, mostly black appointments, and the output has tanked. The increase in black management was funnily enough, due to the decrease in output.
At Kolomela Mine, which was the flagship in the Anglo group, more than 100m of ore has been written off due to poor high-wall boundary design and lack of implementation. The stockpiles have been destroyed as a result. One pit has been closed due to these high costs.
They are blaming it on the lack of maintenance at Transnet. Guess the reason why Transnet is in the position it is in? BEE.
A whole communities future has been compromised, mostly black. But, hey at least it was an offering at the altar of BEE, so it is okay.
Perhaps this has something to do with land expropriation. If you can control estate agents perhaps there's a way to control into whose hands property falls . Hmm.....
So please explain to me, how am I as a one-man business becomes BEE compliant. I’ve found the perfect answer and it’s actually simple. I wear black pants with black shoes, and a light shirt. Sad to see what's happened to South Africa. I've had South Africans tell me that during apartheid everyone was in a better place compared to now. I've also heard that countries refused to trade with South Africa during that time which forced products to made locally and things like shoes were of high quality.
