Congratulations on the 600!🎉🎉
Thank you
Congrats on reaching your subscribers milestone!
Thank you so much
I think 55 new starts for your birthday is a wonderful idea. Congratulations on 600 subscribers! Darlene D'eon's patterns are fatastic! I have only stitched Happy Harvest and So Much Snow but I do have more of hers to stirch. I am so sorry you had to frog so much but you did fantastic at getting new stitches put right back in. The trip to Toronto sounds fabulous and I know you will really enjoy it.
Thank you
Hurray for 600!!! There is a pattern I stitched years ago from "Cross Stitch and Country Crafts" magazine called "A Grateful Heart". I gave it as a gift to someone, and I wish I had kept the pattern so I could stitch it for myself.
Thank you. I had a lot of those magazines years ago, but when I moved about 20 years ago, I pulled out the patterns I wanted and tossed the rest because pikes of magazines are heavy. I'll keep an eye out for it.
Congratulations 🎉 the one I would love to stitch and is my unicorn is Liger Lilly by Nora Corbett…
Thank you, she is beautiful and I understand why she's your unicorn. I don't understand why they stopped printing her.
I love that strawberry bird, and the fabric you dyed is gorgeous! I also turn 55 next year. We should chat because I love your idea of doing 28 new starts. Congratulations on your 600 subscribers, and thank you for shouting Sheryll and I out! Happy stitching! 🩷
Thank so much. It's 55 starts, I just have 28 currently in my stash, I have to pick up the rest thought the next year. I'd definitely love company, a new start every 6 days.
Ok I'm game for that! This year I am focusing on WIPS . This will be a lotvof fun!
@@bayside_stitching5296 we will keep each other going
Congrats on 600 subbies. I enjoy your videos. I live close to Myrtle Beach, SC and been watching awhile. I would love to do heartstring samplerys Sunday stitches. Thank you for sharing. Have a blessed week and happy stitching. Lucinda.😢
Thank you so much for watching
Our flags are almost identical in completion…but I started on the right side. Congratulations on the subscriber count.
Congrats on 600 subscribers! You will have a great time the Blue Jays game in the summer. I don't really have a unicorn chart at the moment. I have a running list of ones I would like to buy, including Quarantine Cats by HAED and A Unicorn, A Peacock, A Badger.
Thanks
You have had some great progress! That Strawberry Bird is so pretty! I love Cottage Garden Samplings charts! 😍
Congrats on 600 subs!🎉🎉
Take care! I hope Spring is just around the corner for you! Our weather is still all over the place!
Thank you so much. The weather at this time of year is so depressing, I see so many pictures of daffodils and crocuses and mine are under 2 feet of snow.
@stitchingontherock I understand! We have had some nice "Spring" weather, but it is supposed to snow again on Wed....only a little while longer and hopefully the snow will be all gone!😊
55 new starts sound like an amazing journey to plan and work on. Tiny Modernist has a pattern in her book Home Sweet Home called One Stitch at a Time that I would love to do. It is the only pattern in the book that I would cross stitch. I just can not buy a book for one small pattern. Darlene, however, has many patterns that I would love to cross stitch. One final note spring always arrives in in Atlantic Canada, at least that's what I always tell my daughter in Cape Breton Island. Congratulations on all your sons and your triumphs.
Either an amazing journey or just crazy, I'm not sure which. Thank you so much, every year I know snow comes in March and April but every year I keep hoping it stays away. I have a friend here that's originally from BC who says Newfoundland doesn't have Spring, we go from winter to yuck to summer.
Congratulations on 600 subscribers! I don't have a unicorn chart but I do want to stitch a Paula Vaughan design. My sister stitched one for me in 1996 and I think it needs a companion.
Thank you. I love Paula Vaughn, I've stitched several of her designs and have tons of her charts in my stash. I'm actually planning to stitch one of them next year.
@stitchingontherock I really like the ones with quilts as I am a quilter. My sister stitched February for me.
For a long time my unicorn piece was an Anchor kit with a geisha in it. I wanted to stitch it for my twin sister. Couple of years ago I found it in a stash for sale group and I stitched it for my sister for her 50 th birthday.
That sounds lovely and I'm sure your sister was very happy to receive it.
Toronto sounds exciting!! And the game!!! There is a Blackbird chart that I’d love to stitch but I don’t think it’s available. It’s “And To All A Good Night”. My word, you frogged so much!! I’d be whining bad!! 55 starts will be so great!!
Thanks. I am so excited about the trip, not sure Aaron or Donna are at all, but then Donna travels a lot and it's been 8 years since I've been anywhere. The frogs got to me this month, the only thing that saved me was doing a little bit and then restitching or putting in new stitches so it didn't overwhelm me.
Would believe my unicorn piece is the same as yours. I fell in love with this piece from day one. Same reason as you it is not hanging on my wall. I can't get my stitching hands on it. Someone out there has to help us. Please.
Great minds think alike 😉 I've loved whenever I see it. I wish it was still available individually because when I finished stitching it, I'd send it to you.
My comment disappeared..hmm…a birthday is something to celebrate so your plans are awesome. Darlene has the same birthday as Carolyn Zook! I think I should purchase a Darlene pattern on her birthday. I would love to do a large Owl Forest Embroidery pattern with their floss but cannot justify the shipping cost so it will be pdf download and DMC.
The more I think about it the more I want to do it but I need to be able to finish them after I start them.
@@stitchingontherock yes…I feel the struggle this year. This is the most wips I have had but there are so many more to do. No fear of me ever feeling bored.
Thanks for sharing another great video! I have that blackbird designs book with this the season and am planning on stitching it in my lifetime. It is beautiful. My chart that I have but can't seem to start is SAGA by long dog samplers. I finally picked on floss (silks 4 u) and fabric (Kayli from the sewing shop) but I can't seem to get it started. It's so big!
I have Pandemic, and I've spent the last 4 years trying to figure out a fabric/floss combination. I'm hoping that when I visit the Needlework store in June, they will have something to inspire me. I'm planning to stitch Tis the Season next year if you want to join me
@@stitchingontherock are you going to Gitta's? The one in Port Credit. It's the only LNS I know of in Toronto area...
I would love to stitch it with you! Gives me a good reason to kit it up 😄
@CrossStitchinChaos yes that's where I'm going either June 26 or 27. I can't wait, I haven't been to an LNS in 18 years. I want to touch some fabric before I buy it, lol. I'll be showing the pieces I'm going to stitch in my videos and on Instagram before I start so you will know when I start Tis the Season
