You have such a teacher bag! The random stuff like spaghetti and string, notes from kids - I feel very seen! 😂Funny that you would carry coffee around - I always carried tea bags this past year when I would visit student teachers in various schools! I always need a book with me and headache tablets. Most bizarre things in my bag are usually school-related - random bits of Lego, pinecones, conkers etc! Less random these days that I'm not in class any more!
The teacher bag is a real thing. I'm always toting spaghetti, tape, random books, paper, markers, crayons, and so on in my bag just depending on the class and the month. :) I loved your comment, Jack!

I can’t think of anything weird that I’ve had in any of my bags, but I definitely always have a book in whatever bag I happen to be carrying!

In the days when I commuted to work via the Washington Metrorail, I kept a few things in my carrying bag. One item was a small flashlight in case I was in an underground station and the lights went out.
Oh! I love the tiny flashlight. My student just gave me a tiny flashlight that lives on my keychain.

I keep a collection of short stories in my car. If I’m going to be somewhere with a wait I can get one story done and I don’t need to remember what happened when I go to the next one.

I also own Gift From the Sea. We have so 😂many books in common. I swear by Excedrin Migraine for migraines. If I take it during the early stages, it can stop it from getting really horrible.

Recently, I neglected to take a book. I did not have a battery charger, and my kindle is on my phone. Consequently, the 1/100 time I needed a book, I had zero. 😤I was pretty angry with me. 🤦🏽♀️ Never again.
