Thank you Professor! Not only is this course helpful for preparation for the CompTIA A+ 1102 exam, I learned more of the capabilities (performance tab) about the task manager which is useful for my own computing. I am also learning Linux at the same time. It's great to see how each one handles different aspects (user friendliness, technical knowledge, etc) and I'm glad to learn more of the administrative side of Windows. Also previously to your video I was not familiar with the different types of windows (Pro / Home). I've used windows extensively, and dabbled in Linux a bit, very grateful to be learning IT from someone with great experience. Watched all your 1101 videos to help when I took the Core 1 exam and passed my first attempt!
@@despise9255 it's true. Ctrl + W then close your laptop and get some sunshine. This type of work that the a+ sets you up for is not the healthiest. But that's a lot of jobs these days anyway..

This is insane man, don't let these greedy corps to rip you off so badly I bought a 30$ book from Messer only because I would never spend more for that kind of entry-level certification Besides, you can find a lot of stuff for free just by spending some time on searching. So for the user section, this is referring on the same computer that is being used right? So for instance if a user is downloading files off the internet, and then another user logs in and displays their desktop. that other user can see that a web browser is taking up resources from the original user and can even close the web browser via task manager. is that correct?
Hello, I am taking the A+ in the next few months! I bought a book off of amazon for the A+ but now I am worried that it might be out of date. Do the tests change very much every time they are cycled out? Thanks in advance!
They get cycled out every so often and there was a cycle that happened this year. before the test code was 220-1001 and 220-1002. now its 220-1101 and 220-1102. The units of what is covered on the test can be found on the study guide provided by CompTia and I believe the study guides for both tests are still up so you could download and compare. From what i've been seeing there's a lot that is still relevant, but there is certain new technologies that are covered now such as Windows 11, 5g, and I feel like cloud stuff is emphasized more.
