4:27 That K740 C-Star is a bad-ass little motor. It sent my six-foot tall 3" Exocet to 9400 feet. I've got another one on deck for a 54mm MD project I'll fly hopefully next month. Hoping for a similar flight profile as your Big Daddy! (maybe with a little less wiggle though)
I, for one, am really looking forward to seeing what your BIG project is! Any clues other than the "using Blue Thunder propellent to light it?" We may need to do a special 'send up' of it! It is great to see you guys having fun.
We're working out lighting a bunch of motors at once. All I'll say here for a clue is that Taylor and I both grew up huge fans of the Gates Brothers! If you see him at Distant Thunder I'm sure he'll fill you in 😉
Hey guys love the video! Im trying to go from D12' to big boy rockets. Any ideas on the 1st step? Like where can i get my tube' my ..well everything to get started in larger rocketry? Thanks guys
I'm curious how high the scaredy cat went, That was a awesome launch, sucks you lost it. all great flights, the energy drink race was pretty awesome. keep up the wonderful content! much appreciated.
I was until I wasn't, basically. IT may have been on the ground or it may have drifted so far it went out of range. At any rate, just make sure you've got a good signal while it's coming down so you know which direction to go.
Do you have a video on how to setup the hand held tracking equipment?
I do!

One of my favorite motors for sure! C-star rules. I need to fly an M1830

I’m new to using com spec but I heard you were getting a signal. Am I wrong I still haven’t tracked a rocket with a com spec.

Nice fun video!
Concerning the friction fit on the Big Daddy. I'm surprised the RSO allowed friction fit of a high power motor.
Why?? There was a time where we friction fit full L motors with zero issues. We also used motor ejection on N motors and guess what, it worked!
If done correctly, friction fitting is very reliable.
@@StreuB1 motor ejection on N motor ? I'm fairly new to this hobby but that sounds really wrong
@@shere_kan8329 Your instincts serve you well, young apprentice.
I’m doing a md flight next month 😳
It’s probably in space orbit haha
Matt!!!!
K185’s!!!!!!
