My dad did his L1 in 1995 on a Binder Design Stealth which he still flies fairly often. He also built a Big Bertha in 1993 that now has hundreds of flights. My oldest rocket that's still flying is probably a 2001 Fat Boy.
i missed this. damn.. can someone make a video on the set up for the recovery system. I've seen like 4 different ways. my rocket is just single deployment. i want the nose cone on the end of shock cord then X distance down the parachute. how do you all do yours? do all 3 of you do yours in a different way?
I've never seen the two in the same room together , & might be a highly guarded secret , but is Taylor also the guitarist for Rammstein - Richard Kruspe ? lol !
ive got never launched, AreobeeHi 2 stage , Terrier sandhawk w/booster from pm. 38mm carbon mongoose, 29mm mongoose, plus several others. If anyone is interested let me know, due to a disability I can't launch and recover all of them. Id like to see them go to others who fly more often. i also have a vintage Estes terrior sandhawk kit in the box from the early 90's. That one is extremely rare.

Going back to the low power stuff , i still have my old Estes rockets , which are now 40 +/- years old now !

Hello! Can someone tell me some good rocket sims that help with how high my rocket will go for my L1?
OpenRocket is pretty industry standard at this point! Rocksim is the classic, but it is expensive. OpenRocket is free!
Long time..estes rockets last.
I still fly my Lvl1 1 PML Phobos that I built in 2001😁
вітаю вас , ви молодці
