- Police in Nairobi are on the spot following the Thursday evening fatal shooting of a protester during ongoing demonstrations in opposition to the finance bill 2024. The largely peaceful protest in the capital ended the life of 29-year-old Rex Kanyike Masai who was allegedly shot by a plainclothes police officer at 7 p.m.
