My dear, it's not Wakiama who talks about forgiveness but God himself and Jesus in the Lord's prayer. We always ask God to forgive our trespasses the way we forgive those who tresspass against us. The choice to forgive is yours, but Wakiama has to speak what God has sent her to say, regardless of your reactions. Please understand this.

Monica please be careful about how you describe people. There is nothing wrong with growing old and you need to realize that everyone is different and have different body types and genetics, which determines how they age. Everyone cannot look the same and abilities to eat well and maintain ones looks might differ from one person to the next. Your description of how some people look as they age with eye bags and sagging cheeks sounded like body shaming to me. Body shaming is not acceptable in the 21st century. We have moved from the era when a beautiful model was skinny, tall, and flawless. Everybody is beautiful in their own right just the way they are. Thanks!

I think it’s important to define forgiveness- it is for the offended. Choosing to release self from the effects of dwelling in the offense and hurt. It does NOT condone the offender’s behavior. The offender must also seek forgiveness from God and change their behavior. This opens the door to repair the broken trust.
