I like the idea of an accurate lie detector test, but i also see a lot of problems with it too. I have anxiety for example and just being in a state where i need to take one would trigger effects that the machines might relate to symptoms of me lying. And people with a lot of money could pay for results that aren't true in order to get away for things. Still some really cool science though! I'm just hoping we don't use it too make a dystopian nightmare.

This is a good questions about the accuracy of machines to distinguish people lying from people telling the truth who just feel anxious to be taking the test! Different types of test would have different levels of accuracy here - the lie-detector, i imagine, would be worse than an fMRI....though I think they have ways to try and tell them apart....because the baseline will be people telling the truth who may also feel nervous whilst taking the tests

I wanted to train an ai to detect truth from lies by voice, it could also be done by face recognition, when people lie, they do this "micro movements" in the face, if someone want to join me, i really hate being murder all alone 😘🤑 love your channel btw
