I like this little detail at 1:13. Although Lauren was the one who was mad at Josh in this scene, she still looks incredibly hurt when he tells her "No freaks allowed!" It truly shows that she thought the world of him and wasn't expecting him to say something so cruel. And the way Josh keeps looking at Finn whilst he says it, showing that he was desperately trying to impress Finn by being a bully. I love how Waterloo Road can not only tell a story through dialogue and events, but also through the body language of the characters.

If I had a normally nice child, and found they had bullied someone just to show off, I would be very ashamed and angry towards them too! Finn should've had more of a punishment too though, for humiliating Lauren with the Quasimodo thing!

That's not a chemical peel, chemical peels are perfectly fine and based on the percentage can even be done at home but they would never be able to get rid of a birth mark unless it was that phenol peel which has to be administered by a doctor

I loved the way Tom handled Josh, straight to the point, Tom gets angry in nearly every episode but up until this point he is truly pissed

Josh was far too wooden a character. Just wasn't convincing in the slightest.
Lauren meanwhile was very underused considering her clear acting ability
